I am not knocking the viper alarm.
I am just saying if you have ever installed your own car stereo or anything electrical really the shock sensor add on is a good fit to the factory alarm system.
My only gripe is that a decent alarm system is not already installed on a $50k plus truck.
I know there are other threads about this topic but decided to post a fresh thread.
I ordered and installed the aftermarket shock sensor for the factory alarm system from www.addshocksensor.com.
It's the same shop down in Miami with all the YOUTUBE videos.

I have the mopar ones and so far really enjoy them. The fact that they do extend all the way down the window channel is part of what keeps them in place. There is no tape/glue or push pins on the front window visors, they are just held in by tension. That is why you have to bend them into place...
Decided on the Mopar Window Deflectors after finding them for $80 online, plus tax and shipping came to $105.

Already installed up and running. Love it.
2 things I would recommend
1- making sure firmware is most current version before installing (mine was).
2- if you make any changes to settings make sure you follow the directions in user manual on doing a full reboot after. If you do not do it that...
