Anyone get this resolved? I’m in the process now of trying to lemon law mine...arbitration hearing was on 6/25. This is just one of many problems I’ve had with my truck. Build date was June 18. They’re replacing my starter too, to see if it fixes the louse clank on startup. Also, they’ve...
Did you ever get an appt and have this looked at. I’ve actually filed a case with NCDS. Mine vibrates/shakes when slowly coming to a stop or easing off the brake...like when in slow moving traffic, etc. My brakes are also still squealing after TSB fixes! I never get a resolution. It’s...
I own a mobile auto body paint company in Chesapeake, VA, and we use Dewalt polishers. Obviously you have to know what you’re doing to use them; but with some practice a rotary polisher can’t be beat!
Just my two cents, but I’d go with the Mopar kit. I’ve had the lesser expensive Ready Lift kit on my 2019 Ram, and it made the front end very bouncy. I’ve since removed the kit, and the truck drives much better! I’m waiting to get a couple of issues fixed on my truck, and then I’ll be putting...
My brakes were “fixed” per the TSB. I’ve had front pads replaced, as well as rear brakes done. Now it’s squealing between 20-40 mph. In addition to the loud clank at startup every so often, and the shaking when in stop and go traffic or backing out of driveway, I’m about ready to drive this...
Mine has a bit of a shake when idling. My wife mentions it from time to time. I’m unfortunately one of the guys on this forum that has had a lot of issues with my truck. I’m taking them one by one! I’ve had two coil packs go bad which obviously caused some misfires. They replaced them, but my...
Yes, please do! It’s something that’s driving me nuts when sitting in traffic. I’d love to find someone that gets it fixed. Hopefully the complete rear brake changeout per the TSB will fix it.
I’m consistently getting 12.5ish. I’m running 33.9” tires with a Ready Lift leveling kit. Seems a bit low even still. Should I mention it to the dealer?
Do you ever notice it even when your foot is off the brake? Sometimes I’ll still feel that shaking/hesitation feeling when my foot is all the way off the brake, when the truck is trying to go under it’s own power from 1-2mph. Can’t figure out if the brakes are sticking or something, or if it’s...
@DonsRam19 Just following up, did you get the “truck shake when letting foot off brake slowly” issue fixed or looked at? I’m still waiting on rear brake parts!!!
Mine aren’t 35’s, they’re technically 33’s (33.9). But anyhow, regardless of tire size, if you call up manufacturer of tire, and tell them the exact tire you have and your exact vehicle, they’ll spit out what psi you should be running them at! Good luck
Just a tip, but if you call the tire manufacturer and tell them the vehicle you’re running them on, they’ll give you the correct pressure! I did this with my Nitto Ridge Grapplers 295/60/20’s. Was told to run them at 45psi. I’m too impatient to scour tables to try and figure it out myself!
Just had this kit installed a few weeks ago, and I feel the same thing...definitely a bit more “bouncy” in the front end. Definitely feel more of the imperfections in the road. It’s weird, it’s not stiff at all, just a bit of a bounce to it!
Interesting! I’ve been having the same issue where I’m getting the howling noise backing out of driveway when there’s a lot of moisture in the air. Sometimes I won’t even have my foot on the brake pedal! Coincidence or no, I also get a truck shake as soon as I take my foot off the brake pedal...
