Do not use a solvent and do not use a die. Either use a wire wheel on a drill or dremel, or a thread chaser. A die removes material. A thread chaser cleans it up.
To answer your question, it did absolutely nothing to affect the 7-8 hunting. It may actually be worse because the throttle is touchy. I just lock out 8th gear now and get on with it.
If you call the tire manufacturer, tell them your application, they will give you a tailored pressure recommendation.
Having said that, Falken told me 44psi. I tried it, the ride was tough and they still felt over inflated. I started using the factory pressure of 36psi and it worked for me...

A 0 offset will still keep the tires under the fender lip, right at the edge. The factory wheel offset may cause tire rubbing and will be more sunk in. A negative offset will have your tires sticking out and look...well, I guess to each his own. But that look is a bit trashy for my tastes...
I have never seen a happier dog than the ones i see in the back of a truck bed. As for temperature, that never seems to bother them except in extreme days. They are animals and survive outside after all.

This module does not reflash the PCM. It piggybacks onto the PCM and intercepts input and output signals. So when removed there is no trace of it being there. It doesn't "return" to stock because the PCM was always stock and unmodified. The only way for Ram to know is for the Pulsar to still...
