hoping for the new ones. replaced one side last year and now both sides are cracked. again just under the 6 year 50k powertrain warranty (i am at 4 years and 44k). just waiting for Mopar parts. dealer has no idea when.
I purchased a Snugtop GB Sport and I like the shape and that they matched the color.
However, just wanted to let people know that there are a few quality issues.
First when they trimmed the bottoms they did not paint/touch up the bottom edges (so white on a red truck and cap). Luckily I had...
I went with the Snugtop GB sport has a nice look with the pop out windows and spoiler with LED top brake light. They matched the color perfectly.
My only regret is that I did not get the front folding window as it is impossible to clean the rear cab and front shell glass.
I prefer Terry cloth to micro fiber. They are cheaper and easier to wash.
Also use cloth baby diapers for the windows.
Both don’t leave those micro fibers.
Just ordered today for my 2020 Laramie running 40.1
Planning on a cross country road trip and I normally just use my iPhone maps but just don’t want to have it always plugged in. But for high traffic areas the phone maps work best a# they also let you know about police, accidents and delays...
For me all those products seem to attract dirt and dust. I use this product to clean the wheels and it is eco friendly as well: Rubber cleaner
You can also order this from Amazon or pick up at most auto parts stores I would think as I have seen it at Advance, pep boys and others.
I disagree on this as
I have over a pint of oil from my catch can with just under 35k miles and that means that oil has not gone into the intake nor around the valves or plugs. In my opinion cleaner is better.
Map updates are separate item.
I was at 34 and updated to 40 and prior when it was daylight out and the wipers came on and also the lights I could not see the dash nor radio and now I can. Also everything looks brighter and a little better.
Used frog tape and a can of black plastic dip from wal-Mart.
Just needed to reduce the amount of chrome in the front. I think it gives it a better look.
Was cheaper and easier than replacing the grill.
I have the off-road and it comes with a skid plate not very heavy duty but there is one. I added a transmission skid plate that has cut outs for the oil plug it is heavy duty. I know a forum member has been trying to make a front skid plate but to many variables
Count me in as one of those that has a ******* exhaust header with just 31,000 miles and most of those are highway (couple of cross country trips).
They finally have the parts - only took a month.
Now to drop it off for 2 days or so.
If you need to order them then I suggest that before you add them, take them to line-x and have them coated red or black.
it will hold up better than paint or power coating.
