Just wondering if anyone who installed a RetraxPro (or other tonneau cover) to replace the OEM tonneau cover had to replace the ‘black’ cargo rails for the silver cargo rails.
The RetraxPro website says that the ‘Silver’ rails are required. My MOPAR dealer is telling me that the silver rails...
Thanks to this thread, I received my $250 check today. Nice, little icing on the cake.
I applied for the rebate in mid-May. I am not an Allstate customer.
I had a BlackVue camera professionally installed in my Maserati in 2015. I liked the quality of the Camera and the magic box to allow for parking surveillance as needed.
I decided to try the install after reading other posts. It really is a straightforward procedure. Take your time with the...

Nice idea!
A little dongle like this should do the trick.

Looking for a solution to a problem (for me) I have not seen on any other thread.
With a family of 5, everyone seems to need to have their electronic device plugged in which creates havoc because they then can't listen to their device without it playing through the UConnect system; this happens...
Admired the final ceramic coating.
rain coming over the next three days here. This is likely the cleanest my truck will ever be.
When I sell it, these are the photos I’ll post (assuming that’s still a thing in 7 years+).
I used F33 for the always on connection. It controls the overhead console buttons. Nothing that is mission critical to the overall running of the truck.
The other fuse was the accessory switch.
It was recommended by BlackVue to connect to both. Why? I honestly don’t know, but I’ve seen other...

Wiring down the A-pillar
From there, I was able to pass the wire in through the exposed side panel (also removed using a trim tool).
I left the wire there and then directed my attention to running the rear camera wire.
For the rear camera, I took a similar approach. I...
So I thought I'd take advantage of the lovely weather we had yesterday, and installed a front and rear dash cam. I have to thank other forum members who posted their experiences and ways of installing and hardwiring accessories in their Ram trucks. The support provided by BlackBoxMyCar.com...
Completed the install of the front and rear dashcam. This was the one project that had me the most nervous as I had never done a complete install myself.
I found a lot of helpful posts around these forums which made the process really easy. I took a bunch of photos during the process which I can...
From what I have read on other posts, the stock, front sway bar is a solid bar similar to the Hellwig and does not need to changed. The rear sway however is not and is why people change it out.
I put about 50 miles on the truck today. No issues with the ride comfort as per all the family...
My initial impression after driving for just a few miles on some curved roads is that the truck feels tighter on curves. That ‘floating, boat-on-the-water’ sensation is dramatically reduced. Having driven sports cars for most of my life, I am more used to the driving sensation with the stiffer...
