I had a 2020 Bighorn with the ORG so for me it was a matter of the more distinctive looks of the Rebel but I also liked that it was designed with off-road use in mind. But I'll add that I also missed having leather and some other features in the higher trims so I decided to go with the Rebel...
Sounds like what I dealt with when I brought mine in although they eventually did the TSB after I "politely" told them it only makes sense to proactively do the s/w upgrade per the TSB. I understand repair places not wanting to maybe tear into an engine on a report from a forum, but looking...
Where'd this happen? I'm actually surprised after driving my Rebel on the beach a couple of weeks ago and how well it did. As a matter of fact, the last day we drove on the beach I forgot to put it into 4wd due to some traffic at the entrance and being distracted. I drove about 2 miles or so...
Unfortunately they probably would've said no thanks or trashed it since I had it right in front of them on my phone and they couldn't be bothered to copy it down. Anyways, they eventually "got approval" to do the S/W upgrade from the TSB, even though they "weren't able to duplicate the...
Finally had a chance to bring mine into the dealer today. When I dropped it off I mentioned the TSB, they service writer kind of brushed it off. Got a call a few hours later saying they couldn't duplicate the issue, no trouble found. Once again I mentioned there is a TSB that should cover...
Hit the beach in Corolla yesterday morning. Lowered the PSI to 20 all around and the truck did great. We ventured over the dunes to spot the wild horses, nice not having to pay crazy prices for a horse tour!
Been hitting the Outer Banks for 20 years and don't think I've ever used 4-Lo. Driven a bunch of different vehicles from AWD (Honda Pilot, CRV, Ridgeline) as well as different full-size trucks and always 4-Hi or depending on conditions I've just kept it in 2wd.
Like others have mentioned...
Count me as another fan of auto-deflators, makes airing down before getting on the beach super easy. Now I'm searching for a compressor since my Ryobi Inflator struggled last year on my Big Horn with ORG so I imagine it'll even worse with my Rebel's tires.
Has anybody that brought their truck to the dealer gotten any resolution? I'm hesitant to take it in if it's not doing it since they'll typically say they can't duplicate the problem, sorry.
We hit the OBX every year and will drive on the beach past Corolla a few times throughout the week. Last few years they've changed the traffic pattern during the day to force all traffic to travel in the soft sand along the dunes. Makes for a lot of stuck vehicles and tricky driving.
I...
I've experienced this as well in my Rebel with the HK 19 system. Seemed like it was coming from the speaker(s) on the right; next time I was in the truck and had a passenger to help isolate it didn't happen.
When I was looking I reached out to Aaron at Mark Dodge and he quoted me 10-15 weeks build time. Due to that timeline I ended up buying off a dealer lot with too many projects going on for spring and summer needing a truck.
I called my local dealer today and they weren't much help since I had already fixed it by resetting the Uconnect. Has anybody gotten a fix from Ram for their camera failure?
I'd have to check the manual but I believe for the first 300 or 500 miles it mentions varying your speed with occasional full-throttle accelerations. And I believe there's something about no towing? I've been following it for the most part, but tbh I wouldn't worry too much about driving it...
Happened to me tonight. Backup camera just black screen. Was doing some shopping, was hoping it'd clear after a few times turning the truck on and off but no dice. '21 Rebel with 12" Uconnect with 350 miles. I was able to do the reset and it came back, still annoying. I'm going to call my...
