I would shop around for financing. With a 840 score you could get everyone's best rate. Credit unions seem to offer the best. My local credit union is offering 1.99% for 60 months with a $200 cash bonus.
Penfed's new auto rates are 1.39% for 36 months, 2.14% 60 months, 2.49% 72 months. There is also a $1K bonus you can use from Penfed that Koons will honor. You could probably finance through Chrysler Capital, not at 0%, but for a few points higher to get an additional $500 incentive, and...
There's a couple of weird things with your order. I thought Koons discount was 6% below invoice and that includes the $1695 destination fee, less any rebates at time of delivery, plus $899 processing fee and TTL. According to your configuration your price should be...
I noticed your base invoice price is only .043% lower than MSRP. On my 2020 Limited build sheet the base invoice price is .0849% The options on both build sheets have the same discount of ,08% Why is the base invoice price % discount on the Limited almost double that of the Tradesman? Does...
True. 7K is pretty good. Bighorns always seem to have the best incentives. I've been shopping Limiteds and in May they were 6K in my area and now are just 2K. You would think the Limited's would be better since there is more profit baked into their MSRP's.
What if the incentives are better when you take delivery? Would you still be stuck with the lower June incentives? The incentives now are not that good. If it's a choice between June's incentives or the incentives when you take delivery, I would take the latter.
Factories are NOT up and running. Tentative start date for the Big Three automakers is Monday, but I don't think the UAW has signed off on that yet. Hopefully soon. Supply is dwindling and don't think there will be any big incentives until there is excess inventory.
My local credit union is offering 1.99% for 60 month, and PenFed is offering 2.19% 60 months. But whoever you decide to borrow from I recommend making sure it is a simple interest loan as opposed to pre-computed.
I'm not sure why you said that either. I remember reading they won't lock in the 8% under invoice with the 0% financing, but would lock in the 0% with 5% under invoice. but they said that upfront. I guess that's their policy which is within their rights. As long as they tell you beforehand I...
In a normal economy I wouldn't settle for anything less 25% off of MSRP including the dealer fees. You just need another $1300 off and that would be 25%. If you really want the truck ask for an additional $2k discount and you would have some room to negotiate. That being said, you asked...
I would take the $5k in rebates. You only get the maximum benefit from the 0% 84 month deal is if you keep the truck for the entire length of the loan. Do you really think you'll have the truck for 8 years? Personally I wouldn't want a car loan that long even at 0%. Take the Chrysler...
