So later this week, I’m upgrading my 8.4” non-nav system to a 12” UAX in my 2020 Bighorn. My son has a 2017 Ram with the 8.4” non-nav, but without CarPlay. I’d really like to install my unit in his truck so he will have CarPlay. Has anyone done this conversion?
Thanks
So we purchased a 2020 Solaire RBS 249. As it sits, it's about 6200 pounds. I pulled it the first time last night to new storage area, about 20 miles closer to home. I've installed a ProPride hitch. The winds were about 20 mph, which clearly pushed me around some. But, NO sway. Very pleased...

I put BR Katavi wheels on my truck several months ago. 20x9 with a 30mm backspacing. BR also provided him rings for the wheels so the fit the truck properly. I'm now thinking about installing 1-1.5" wheel spacers to move the wheels out. Does anyone see any issues with spacers given I have the...
Received a Scangauge II recently. Mainly want to monitor EGT’S and regens. So, per the Scangauge site for Ecodiesel, I set up Cat Bank 1, Sensor 1 (DPF), EGT 1 (TRB), EGT 2 (DOC) and Soot Manager (STM). And I don’t want to use an app. Here’s my questions.
- apparently a regen happened shortly...
Drove from Austin to OKC Tuesday night. Went NW out of Fort Worth to try and avoid heavy rains and hail storms. Didn’t work, got into so big hail. I finally saw a mid sized oak tree about 40’ off the hwy. no idea how firm (or not) the ground was. Threw it into 4 wheel drive and went anyway...
Just put 3100 miles on my 2020 Bighorn. Mostly highway miles. The truck used 1/2 tank of DEF. This is MUCH more than I used on my 2014 Ecodiesel. Just curious what others are seeing? Thanks.
