They claim it isn't compatible with the ECO-Diesel (at this time).

Get a 3/4 or a 1 ton and save yourself a bunch of headaches trying to tow that with a 1500. I have a Rebel and tow close to those numbers and it just isn't safe even with WDH and air bags. The half ton is too light for long distance towing IMO. I am currently looking at getting back into...

Never seen that with mine either.

All tires on the tow vehicle and trailer were aired up to spec , tongue weight adjusted twice final set up at about 800 lbs hitch weight. I even redistributed weight to give more tongue weight , no change.

The ecodiesel will pull the travel trailer without much struggle plenty of power, but the 1500 Ram chassis/ frame is really not ideal for towing a big tall travel trailer IMO. My TT weighs in around 7500 lbs and even with a dialed in WDH the truck feels unsafe. I am not overloaded and Tongue...

I think that is probably a good idea, just to make sure all the kinks are worked out. I really hope that they fix this for you and you have many trouble free miles. Let us know the outcome !

Unfortunately these things happen sometimes, I would definitely be a little irritated if it were my truck. I hope they get it fixed and no more issues pop up. BTW welcome to the site .

The bracket where it attaches to the trailer frame looks like the weak point. What is the weight rating on that?
