Its a pure profit maker, all of the tooling and stuff has long been paid for on the DS platform so it literally is costing them nothing keeping the line running.
As someone who had the Borla ATAK do your self a favor and look at the AWE 0FG for our trucks. It sounds great, not quite as loud as the ATAK and the fit and finish is miles better than Borla. They use the factory style ball clamps for the tips so you can actually get them aligned properly vs...
While I also prefer Ram’s interior this doesn’t suck by any stretch of the imagination. Having owned a L2 Bighorn Night edition and a Laramie L1 Sport this interior on an LT is just as good material wise as the Bighorn and even a Laramie minus the leather. Chevy has a better wireless charging...
I'm driving a 22 LT Trail Boss right now, my brother let me borrow it while he takes my Challenger in to fix a leaking steering rack. The digital cluster is nice high resolution but its not nearly as customizable as what Jeep has currently nor can you get any sort of fuel economy display other...
We don't know that for sure considering they haven't officially released any details. 23 is the last year prior to the MCR so they will probably add some value packages and/or trickle down some of the upper trim luxuries to the lower trims. Of course this is in a normal market and normal...
It will only be available initially on TRX, Limited and Limited Longhorn. Same cluster as you get on the New Grand Cherokee(and L) and the Wagoneer lineup.
The only time its loud like the Atak is at cold start. After that its nowhere near as obnoxious as the Atak is, way quieter in the cab as well. Here is a cold start video from mine when I first installed it.
AWE for sure(I had one of the first pre-production units). I had the Atak prior to the AWE and Borla's fit and finish is garbage, the tip adjustment is practically non existent while the AWE retains the factory style ball joint for easy adjustment. Sound wise the AWE is a little loud on cold...
I wouldn't say never, the Grand Wagoneer already has the 392 and its built on the DT frame but its highly unlikely with the new I6 coming out soon. I will say if they give us a 392 1500 that isnt off road focused I'll be first in line to trade my Challenger in.
I don't know of any aftermarket solutions for adding an aftermarket receiver. I know @Jimmy07 makes custom harnesses to integrate factory upgrades but not entirely sure if anything like that is needed to upgrade from the 5" to the 8.4" or 12.1".
I also heard there is huge waiting list on the new Tundra to the point that people might not see trucks for a year or two. Sounds like the Bronco fiasco to me. If these gas prices keep going up the way they are I have a feeling that the truck and large SUV market will crash again(like it did...
The only difference with the 21 is they deleted the mid resonator. I had a 21 e-torque and it wasn’t any different than my 20 other than the mid pipe being a straight pipe vs having the resonator. AWE exhaust fit just fine. Borla has terrible tip fitment fyi
Still doesn’t help the ride quality. It’s just a poorly designed kit, unfortunately spending 3x more for the IHC kit doesn’t get you any better ride either. Maybe Belltech will get it right with their kit assuming it ever gets released.
