I've been looking at those Black Horse bumpers. What made you go with them? They look 'lower profile' than some of the MONSTER custom off road bumpers out there. Where they much heavier than the stock bumpers?
Thanks for the reply! A couple follow-up questions.
1) I'm a little surprised this lift gets you a true 3" of lift. I was under the impression the Rebel and ORP trucks got their factory extra inch of height from a 1" longer spring. Did you, or the shop, do much adjustment with the coilover...
Longtime listener, first time caller. Sweet truck! I have a couple questions about your Fabtech lift.
1) are the front spring replaced? Or does it use your factory springs?
2) how thick are the spacers in rear?
Thanks!

Quick question for you.. I'm considering go to true 35"s. But I love my Rebel wheels. Aren't you running BFG 35"s on Rebel wheels? Most 35"s "require" at least an 8.5" rim. Or is that merely suggestion. lol
I do not. I reached out to [email protected] and they helped me out, were very quick. I'd email them the number for the left and ask them for the right.
Note: Here are the parts you may need to replace. Kind of surprised the stupid push-pin (black plug thingy that holds the fender liner in place) are $4.14.

That's a random question for this thread. But yes.. yes I have.
Back on-topic... I started this on my Laramie yesterday. I followed the 'bend it back' method. I used pliers to first straighten the tab, then I created a new bend at the point where others cut-it-off. It cracked the paint so I...
Well you'd definitely know better than me. It would be great if someone did a side-by-side comparison with the Vice mount.
On another note, Kid Richmond's light set-up is about the coolest thing I've ever seen.
This sounds like my exact experience yesterday (less the rental). My 2019 Laramie got its 10K mile service, software update, and pedal recall done yesterday. I reported the exact issue everyone is seeing here. No information, they didn't understand, and by the time I went to pick up the truck...
I've thought about building something like this too, as there doesn't seem to be anything marketed for the 5th gen yet. But after seeing how much work this guys put into his, I will wait and gladly pay $295.
