FYI... The heater core on my 2019 went at 77k miles. Was a $1600 repair job. Everything else works fine. Oh, and my stock battery died after 2.5 years. Replaced it with an Interstate.
If I posted this in the wrong place, I apologize. But recently, my 2019 Laramie will... well buck or bronco... diagonally. Like from right front, to left rear under hard acceleration. Like it is wallowing around in the lane or something... It isn't an ignition or engine issue. The engine...
Yeah, makes me feel like we need a check list next to the 4WD buttons with about 6 steps that we must check off with a grease pencil prior to using 4Lo...
Not that unusual though. 6 months ago, when I suspected my battery had died, I called my dealer since it is still under warranty. I was told it would be 2 to 3 days before they could look and diagnose it. So, I went to a NAPA store where they hooked a battery tester up and confirmed I had 2...
Mine went after 28 months. I called the dealer. Dealer said it was "probably" the battery. Bring it to me and I can diagnose it in a day or two and pro rate a replacement for you. As I don't have an extra vehicle sitting around, I drove to the nearest Interstate dealer and got a new AGM...
I now have 47k on my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie. Picked it up in October of 2019. Runs great still. I had to have the coolant flushed and refilled. Dealer tried to say I put something in it to cause it to gel, but I have never opened the radiator or the overflow tank. At 2.5 years, the battery...
I have it and could live without it. Honestly, when I bought my 2019, I actually wanted the eTorque engine because I bought into the hype that it would save me 2mpg. Bull$hit. My 2019 gets worse fuel mileage than my best friend's 2016 Hemi Ram. So, in my mind, it was a waste of money.
I...
Those the tires that I put on mine, except I went for the 285 because I wanted a bit more meat.
I have put 24k miles on them so far and have plenty of tread left.
I will definitely buy these again when they wear out.
Since the OP is in California, do NOT expect the title anytime soon. I recently read a thread on the Camaro forum about someone from Nevada, who bought a Camaro in California with a cashiers check. Took him 130 days to get his title.
Check this out...
The biggest "must have" in my book is a gallon sized zip lock bag to go around the filter as you are removing it. The filter is in such a ridiculous location, you cannot get it out without getting oil all over the front axle and steering unit unless you use the zip lock bag trick.
The rest is...
According to my owners manual, you only have the auto stop/start system if you have eTorque. The button I think the OP is referring to is this one:
If you don't have eTorque, you don't have this. The eTorque system is comes with all V6 now, but you can get the Hemi with or without eTorque...
I have 35k on my 2019 Laramie with eTorque. Only problem I have had is a cooling system issue about 1000 miles ago.
As for the comments on poor fuel economy, you can add me to that list. I got roughly 3-5mpg better fuel economy out of my previous 2014 4x4 Silverado LTZ with the 5.3L. My 2019...
Sorry it has been a while since I posted. I don't know the part number. I threw the package away. I literally went to the dealer, had him look up my VIN and get me the suggested part number.
Anyway, it has been around 4000 miles since I replaced the cap and the antifreeze smell has returned...
