    Detailing Questions and Recommendations

I use a Milwaukee blower - the larger one and it works pretty good. After I am done with the blower I use a wooly mammoth towel from Chemical Guys to finish drying the truck. Works very well.

    Vehicle Scanner - Code Scanner

Anyone using a reasonably priced scanner for their 2019 or new Ram. I have tried the Autel 806Pro and 2019's are not listed. I also tried a Launch CRP129e. Any other recommendations? Thanks Looking for something a little more advanced than just a code reader.

What's your worst stories of shop/dealership work on your vehicle (Ram or otherwise)?

I have a 2007 Dodge Sprinter that needed re-painted. Talked to a local paint shop and they said they could have it done in about 8-10 days. We negotiated a price and I dropped the van off before going on vacation so they could paint it and I wouldn't be without it (I use it for work). Got...

Full Polish & Wax - How Much?

I to was a bit nervous about polishing my vehicles. I watched the above video and then bought a Griot's Garage buffer and using the technique from the video I buffed and polished our 2009 Town and Country. I couldn't believe how well the finish came out. Months later it is still smooth as...

RustProofing - Gun Recommendations - Spraying Woolwax or Corrosion Free

It is adequate for the under body, didn't work great with the wand extensions. I run it on a 70gallon compressor, my 30 gallon wouldn't keep up.

RustProofing - Gun Recommendations - Spraying Woolwax or Corrosion Free

I used the gun I got from Kelly Sport to spray Woolwax on my 2019 Ram. I used it in the fall of 2019 and it worked OK - it was the Pro Gun. Anyone have a better gun recommendation? This year I am going to spray Corrosion Free. Thanks

Trxudeo Lo Pro or Pro X15

No problem with the X15, but to do it again, probably something like an UnderCover or similar. It has gone through 1 Michigan winter and still looks great. Not going to replace it anytime soon :)

Trxudeo Lo Pro or Pro X15

I have the Pro X15 and really liked the material over the other covers. I live in Michigan and it has held up well even with snow frozen on it. If I did it again I would look at a solid cover that folds.

    Tonneau Cover Question

I have the Truxedo Pro X15 and it is a very nice cover, looks real nice and functions well. If I had to do it over again I would have probably went with a hard cover.

Convince a car guy to buy a 1500 (please)

I am a fellow Michigander - and I bought my Ram Big Horn in October of 2019, it was used. 1 day later left for a trip to Florida and absolutely fell in love with my truck. I have the crew cab and would not have bought anything but the crew cab - you will be grateful for the larger backseat...
