Since originally reading and commenting in this thread, I have come across numerous accounts of people jump starting their trucks and driving off without issue. It seems that not being able to is abnormal.
How do you know the computer isn't correct and the sensitivity of different fuel dispenser shutoffs is making your hand calculation incorrect??
When I top off the tank, I can usually add over another gallon to the tank after the initial automatic stop of the pump. Some pumps will let you add a...
The only fix I have heard of is to click the seatbelt in place, or buy one of the many aftermarket gadgets like a seatbelt extension or something that fools the system into thinking that the seatbelt is in place.
Sounds like more ignorant dealer BS to me. What does the dealer care if you pay off your loan early that you obtained through a 3rd party bank.....unless the dealer finance guy sourced the financing and the bank owes them a commission after XXX number of days?
Huh? Sounds like something only a dealer can do. How do you "steal a stock truck from a new car store"? So you buy a new truck from a dealer, throw some aftermarket parts on it, then resell it to other dealers for profit? If the dealer wanted a modified truck because he thinks that he can...
Smokin' used deals can be had for those that can find them, I can attest to that.
Lemon Law'd trucks are documented as such. Repo trucks go to auction which is documented as well. How many early 5th gen Ram owners have gotten tired of the recalls, TSBs, and other nuisances, and simply traded...
When I first got my Ram, I had read many posts about poor MPG and I was worried that I, too, might suffer from the same. I set my instrument panel up to show ECO mode, Instant MPG, and AVG MPG. While driving, I found myself always looking down at the stats and doing everything I could to keep...
Click Bait. Please change the title. You didn't pay MSRP and the $5500 of mods add $0 value to anyone except possibly a private party buyer who happens to like what you like, even then you get pennies on the dollar invested. It appears that you lost $6k in depreciation plus the cost of your...
Quick observation regarding the 2" rear "Level". I noticed driving home yesterday that my start/stop wasn't turning the engine off at a couple lights and that the truck wouldn't creep forward when letting off the brakes and would only move forward once I put my foot on the gas. After the 2nd...
If you want to see tons of 5th gens with all sorts of setups, check out this website. Over 3500 RAMs with custom setups with pics. Great filtering options too.

OP, you might want to add this to the...
Well, I did as the thread title states and lowered the rear 2" last night. Install was too easy. Remove lower bolt from each shock and lift chassis until rear tires are just about off the ground then swap out the springs. I really like the look. After driving about 15 miles or so, I would...
Another vote for the Flowmaster FlowFX. No drone when cruising, can hear it when you want to. Nice, clean, tuned sound outside. No rasp. Doesn't sound cheap. I am very happy with mine, and I am very picky with any mods.
