Bad eTorque again. Being replaced under warranty.

Thanks Kapina. They are taking their own sweet time with the diagnosis. Seems like there is only a few things that it could be with the eTorque system.

Honestly, my truck has been pretty trouble free. Love this thing, and can't believe I've had it for 5 years. This winter (March), developed a horrible sound and tracked it down to the Etorque motor. Replaced by the dealer under warranty. Only 40K on my truck (You don't drive much in AK!!)...

So my wife dropped the truck for me at the airport, and put the key fob in the rambox. Do you think the door will open from that distance, or should i have a friend run a spare fob rescue mission?

Thought about it, but I'm old and leaning down that far to see the plug orientation seemed like it would irritating.

Finally bit the bullet and drilled a hole in the bumper. Looks great.

There was a post awhile ago where someone mounted the plug to the side of the license plate bracket. Looked pretty good, but the NOCO won't fit there. Not sure where he got his plug at..and I'm searching for the thread. Did you end up mounting yours?

Perfect? Maybe not. Best vehicle I have ever owned? Absolutely. Still stare at it sometimes after a nice wash and some good light. Drives like a dream. Love it.

Mine is struggling this winter. I'm sure it is affected by using the autostart and the short intown drives, but my hand calc on my last tank was 12.8 mpg, which is about 5 mpg less than I was getting this summer.

Still loving my Latchit rack. No problems with the rack itself, but the ice on the MX4 makes folding it up a bit more difficult.

Had mine replaced as well, but wish I had left well enough alone. What was irritating is now unacceptable despite 3 weeks at the shop. Goes in next Tuesday for another crack at it.

8 days later...still waiting for my truck.

If you run in 4auto, i wouldn't worry as much about it. In 2wd, it makes a huge difference.

That's what mine looked like. I took it in and they ordered me new boxes. However...I have been without my truck now for 3 weeks, which is a bit of a bummer....

I'm curious to see how bad these lights are! I live in Alaska and haven't had to use my headlights/backup lights much since I bought the truck. Winter is coming.

Drivers side: mini air compressor, small tool kit, 15' extension cord Passenger side: 30' tow strap with rings, and a buddy's can of Copenhagen. Under seat: Dog toys, towels, cleaning stuff. Still trying to figure out what to put FT in Ram Boxes. Kinda like leaving them open for daily stuff...
