This is a late response but it might help others. You might check the equalizer or output settings on the app you use to play music. Maybe a pre-amp setting has been turned down on your phone.

I have a 2019 and that is what I replaced my front dash speakers with and they dropped right in. I did not like the sound at first but after some tweaking of the equalizer they sound great.

Another option for music on Android Auto is Musicolet app. It works very well but I do prefer the sound using Poweramp and their equalizer. The only problem is sometimes Poweramp will start a song in the middle or near the end and can be quirky (even when not using Android auto).

Just wanted to post an update to post #2 in this thread - I pretty much forgot about this issue and my backup camera has been working flawlessly with no pink screen since that early occurrence. (I probably just jinxed myself and will have all sorts of issues with it now).

Here is the one I used - fumoto valve. I had one on my 2006 Ram 3500 since 2006 and it is still on there and never gave me any issues.
