I didn't like the lines because they were pretty big, stiff and a tad long. That has nothing to do with the quality. They are of excellent quality and will not kink or break unless you bodge the install.
You guys and your warranty crap. Stop speculating and read the ACT. They would need to prove it caused a failure. Moving an oil filter isn't going to cause a failure. The lines were beefy and well made - they are a tad long but that allows you some wiggle room. This was the first thing I...
I haven't been on the board for awhile but wanted to post the PACBRAKE oil relo kit pictures.
I didn't like the lines, but once it's on it's super nice. I never had any luck for the plastic bags or the udder.
Well I finally got mine installed - yes about a few months late. I have a 5600 lb 24' trailer and it was pretty sweet w the Timbrens. Very stable and nothing was swaying or anything else and they handled the bumps really well. I love them when towing. The problem is when you aren't towing...
That's really good to know - I was wondering if they were as you described. I'll get them on and see how it performs. The HD air bags that go into the spring were good because you can let nearly all of the air out them when you aren't towing. I'll post once I've got them installed. On a side...
Your opinion is just that - your opinion. It's not fact based. IDK what you have for tires or wheels, gear ratio, type of trailer, tongue weight, how much you haul in the bed, etc. etc. - nor do I know where you live (elevation etc.) and I don't really care. So what I'm trying to point out is...
I have off-road package also. I have the timbrens, but haven't installed them yet. Hoping the spacing isn't too much with higher ride height. If it warms up this weekend I'll get them installed.
New math? That doesn't make sense. This also depends upon final tire size as that does change final drive ratios. You can't blanket state this.
Frontal area? It's partially speed but it's also final drive ratio.
How do you know if I'm lugging my HEMI? You don't. Maybe I went with 16"...
The rear axle ratio matters a lot on these - my 2019 DT with 5.7 3.92 ratio and towing 28' camper does 12mpg at 65-70 mpg. Once you push to 70+ the MPG drops like a rock. First time hauling the camper at 75-80 it was 7-8 MPG. I just slowed down and found that sweet spot where it will stay in...

Went with the Timbren SES for my trailer on the 1500. Anyone done these before and what were the results?
I used...
Installed two kicker speakers from Crutchfield in my 2022 1500 DT with HK stereo - sounds way cleaner! The treble was ear piercing and this made that way more reasonable and added some bass to the front! Sounds super good with the surround sound IMHO.
Just installed the PacBrake oil filter relo kit. Took about 2 hours with the oil change. You'll need a shortly 7/8 with the PacBrake kit. All of the hose fittings and hoses are 7/8" and you need to monkey around with the long wrench to get everything tightened up. I had a 2019 5.7 DT and a...
Just picked up my 2022 Laramie - the HK system is kinda ear piercing imho. I've adjusted it but not really impressed. Seems like a lot of bass and heaps of treble. I'm ordering some speakers from crutchfield. Starting with the corner dash speakers.
I live in Colorado and Ordered in FL. They shipped to CO no problem. Jan 4 order Feb 7 delivery.
If you need a good contact with a high volume store I have the guy to call.
Most of the time you don't need to drill anything - they break at the very top of the bolt where the bolt head is. Easy to extract with various methods.
