Wow, 30 in a Rebel! My best MPG to date is 29 but I dont count that because it is an outlier, happened once. Most highway is 22-24. Around town 19-20 mpg. I would kill for 27 much less 30.
Very sad about this, I really like my ecodisel. I may trade mine for a 2023, just to get 2 years newer to last a little longer and the Rebel was a bit of overkill. Might jump to a Laramie or Limited.
I had a 95 Land Cruiser. I learned the hard way that the first time it was just a little slow starting that was your one and only warning you needed a new battery. The first time I was stuck in a parking lot, the second time I had a sluggish start I immediately changed my plans and went and...
Thanks for the feedback, very much appreciated. This will be our first trailer so my thought is to stay relatively small and if we like RV’ing then in a few years as we closer to retirement look for something in the 23-26 ft range for longer trips possibly full time for a couple of years.
I...
We have been looking at this recently. I would love the Terra, but it might be a bridge too far at the moment. My wife really likes the Lance. What are your thoughts on the Horizon? Is the Rover package worth it?
I have been seeing a lot of press in the last week on this dash cam:

Was just announced at the 2022 CES, set to come out later this year. Looks interesting, pretty high-tech, hopefully not too high-tech. After having a car break in I really want...
I have been slowly de-googling my life for a while, the hardest part is maps. I still haven't decided what I am going to do there. I am also phasing out gmail and have switched to a more secure platform.
Side note: Below is a search for "5th gen ram". First one is in google and the second...
Does the turbo lag problem appear after a period of time or is it more a matter if you have the problem you have it and if you dont you dont? My truck was an April order and only has a little over 4K miles on it and I havent experienced any turbo lag at all. In fact, I wouldnt call the truck...
Yeah I am in the same boat, my city driving is close to sticker but my highway is way under. Actually my highway is under the combined number. When you consider one of the reasons I bought the truck was for long highway trips it becomes particularly painful.
I really like these, I am just trying to decide how long I am going to keep the truck and is worth putting sliders on, How well does this work as a step to get into the truck? Will it work for the wife?
We were just in your neck of the woods last weekend. We visited some friends in Spokane and drove over to Couer d'Alene for the day. Poured rain but still good, I love that area.
Even though I just bought my Rebel and in spite of that hideous front-end (which hopefully can be improved with an aftermarket bumper) and the apparent lack of storage on the new Tundra, depending on MPG and the seats passing the wife's back test, this will be my next truck.
I did adjust the brightness, I may not have adjusted the height I will have to look into that. I was trying to figure out if polarized sunglasses vs non polarized made any sort of difference.
Back on track: About a week ago I installed the Hellwig. It took a little more work for me than...
Interesting, so far the technology package with the video mirror and HUD have been my biggest regrets, not worth the money. The HUD is a good idea but I just cant see it most of the time during daylight with sunglasses on.
