How cold should the AC in my 21 be?

The truth is that as long as the 1234yf system was desined correctly and is functioning well you will get nearly identical vent temps under the same ambient conditions...as a r12 or r134a system It's pretty clear there are design issues or defects in the vehicles that are not getting low 40s f...

    A/C Performance

Like I mentioned before SOME of these stores are NOT actually performing the TSB according to the manufacture's instructions! They are LYING to the customer and the manufacturer, I doubt the dealer garrett took his truck to actually got a "bad part" the truth is they probably didn't do the job...

    A/C Performance

There is no way this issue can't be resolved, seems like a matter of using their dedicated Chrysler scan tool/software to adjust things back to the original default you had. Incompetence is rampant at most dealerships and has been for decades. Seems to me like the lead tech shop foreman is going...

What are your vent temps? Cold or freezing you out is a relative term depending on the person, how about posting temps? However if you are happy with the performance I wouldn't go the TSB route. How about your wife or children? If they are OK with it, leave well enough alone.

TSB #24-001-20 A/C Fix. Has anyone had it done yet? Plus are you happy with the results?

I don't know why these dealers are trying to claim that the TSB requires that they inspect anything at all. The ONLY requirement in the official TSB is that the customer indicates poorly performing AC, that is all. Hope the work goes well and the shop does a good job. If you can follow up...

But the TSB says that all that is needed is for the customer to make the complaint, it says nothing about restrictions on parts being released.

TSB #24-001-20 A/C Fix. Has anyone had it done yet? Plus are you happy with the results?

That's why I wonder if some of these dealers are actually doing the entire job...it almost seems like they did NOT replace the heater box assembly. I'm sure that if the ENTIRE process ordered by the TSB isn't completed you won't get the proper results. I've worked at dealerships and it was...

TSB #24-001-20 A/C Fix. Has anyone had it done yet? Plus are you happy with the results?

That is why I question whether or not these customers are not actually getting the repair specified in the tsb... My guess is that some dealers are flat out lying to those customers...it happens more tjan you might think

TSB #24-001-20 A/C Fix. Has anyone had it done yet? Plus are you happy with the results?

I hate to have to bring this up, but I have to wonder if some of these dealers are LYING about performing the TSB but collecting the warranty payout...it happens. This situation seems like one of them. Do you see any sign of work being done to the dash such as evidence of fasteners being...

Water Stained Headliner Near Rear Corner

I honestly would leave it alone...while some methods can reduce evidence of staining they may also cause more damage to the headliner causing the glue to fail earlier than it should. I have been a detailer for 25 years..sometimes for durability reasons you leave them alone..

    FCA Temporarily Closing plants

I'm suspicious as well, like that tanker stuck in the Suez last week. Did you see the navigation pattern on a map? Tell me what that looks like! No kidding seems deliberate and now the story has gone quiet.

I’ve had my new Limited for only 5 DAYS and the leather seats already look terrible!!!

The passenger's side bottom panel looks as if the mfr used the incorrect graining pattern from a vinyl press machine. Weird.

You need to contact Ram Cares again, ask to speak with an "FCA district service rep" for your area, make an appointment to meet him at another dealership that is close by to you. Make sure you take all your paperwork which had your issues and concerns listed about the AC performance PRIOR to the...

    A/C Performance

Call Chrysler Corporate and start a ticket. You have the records that show you were concerned about the AC performance multiple times before the warranty runs out, they MUST repair it. The TSB only says "if the customer reports concern" it does NOT require the dealer to perform tests before the...

A Dead RAM, a dishonest dealer, and a disheartened owner

The truth is that most dealerships today really don't give a hoot about the customer regarless, customer service is a distant memory. However to the OP , just on principle alone I would have gone back there with the test from O'Reilys and made them cough up a new battery, heck make these lazy...

    A/C Performance

I'm super impressed that your SW actually acknowledged your awareness of the TSB and actually didn't play the "we don't know about that one" game. Give that SW credit, he didn't BS you , and got your concern addressed, that's professionalism. It's very rare these days at the dealers and...

    A/C Performance

Don't be really nasty, but DO be persistent, do not stop contacting them and showing up until you are satisfied with the vehicle. Keep pushing it's the only way. Best open a case ticket with Ram Cares corporate, they will intercede at the dealer for you if they are not responding correctly.

    Interior Rattles

You do realize that Ford products have almost the same level of problems as Chrysler does? A big truck no matter how fancy and expensive is NOT a "luxury vehicle" and never will be no matter the price, not that terrible QC is acceptable even on basic vehicles. I wonder how long it will be...
