My truck is in the shop now to replace Air Dam Motor. Here is dealers diagnostic and part number. Just so you know ram extended the warranty for 8 years on Air shutter and dam.
My 2019 Ram Etorque showing same code U11E9 Dealer had truck all day and is ordering a new AAD part CXPKX961AA today. Don't have much faith that this is the fix after researching this forum.
Did your wiring harness ever wear threw by contacting the bracket which supports the E-Torque unit causing a short and the ignition coil fuse F59 to blow and your truck to stall and not start?
Bringing an old thread back to life. I own a 2019 Ram 1500 e-torque currently experienced a stall issue. (Had many electrical issues which started 6 months after purchase just look for my prior posts.). While driving my truck stalled. Tried to restart until battery died. Found fuse F59 blown...
Just picked up the truck from dealer. Dealer found driver side 3rd ignition coil bank wiring arching on bracket. They isolated it and taped it. $382. Little steep for a tape job!
Original owner 57,000 mi. Since purchase had numerous electrical issues from electrical going haywire to not starting but never a stall while driving. Yesterday while crawling at 20 mph on very nice gravel road I hit a little washboarding. The vibration stalled the truck. When I attempted to...
Wouldn’t that short some relays fuses etc? 9,000 miles on the truck with no issues, battery ground recall, brake pedal recall, and a software recall, completed all at the same time, then I get a battery issue after driving the truck over 100 miles. Get the truck back drive it close to 180 miles...
There were no codes thrown on the prior dealer repair invoices. Can’t imagine how that is possible with all the electrical popping noises under the hood. There’s no starter in the truck so not sure what the black unit is alongside front rightside of the engine, but that would not turn off the...
Same issue again. Truck wouldn’t start needed a jump. Voltage meter reading 14.1-14.4 battery display reads just above e half. After last visit to dealer battery voltage never made it above 14 pretty much stayed 13-13.9. Waiting for a loaner.
Update this is a 5.7 Hemi E-torque. 1:30 in shop. Battery tested good, no bad cells but low. Dealer charged it, reset and rebooted, everything seems back to normal. The battery voltage on the way to the dealer was reading 14.1-14.4. On the way home 13.3-13.6??? What caused the power down I ask...
