Yep, my rear doors are the same way. Noticed it upon inspection when I went to pick up the truck (long distance, did deal over the phone). I've had bunches of FCA products over the years, I just chalked it up as "par for the course". Love the vehicles but like with any brand there's certain...
I absolutely hate it. I hit the gear limit button to disable it every time I get up to speed in the truck. They claimed it was supposed to be less noticable in the 5th gen, but not at all. I feel it kick in, and can't stand the surge upon deactivation when reapplying the throttle.
I've had 2...
Not much at all. Keep in mind that it is a soft cover that rolls up so naturally it's going to a little, but not enough for concern. It pulls just about as tight as possible when latched. I chose the Revolution because it doesn't have the velcro strips that you have to fool with and because...
Interesting. I have a Big Horn, but with the black package so painted bumpers, and my bolt pattern was same as your Laramie with chrome.
Maybe it's not related to trim level or bumpers and and just depends on the build date of your truck? Maybe the early trucks were wrong then FCA realized...
So holy crap, looks like the Laramie and Big Horn have different bolt patterns. That makes zero sense. That also means that Westin can't be the only running board manufacturer with this issue. What a mess.
I ran into the exact same problem with my Westin Pro Traxx 4 bars. They mount the same, brackets look the same. I emailed Westin customer service through their website, and got this reply:
Hello;
Yes indeed, Ram changed that mounting point after our initial mock ups and fabrication of...
I love mine, it's the Extang Revolution. No velcro strips like other roll up ones, sits very flush. Took the truck to the beach last month, it came a monsoon on the way back thanks to Hurricane Micheal, and our luggage was dry as a bone when we got home.
FYI guys, this is the cable I use. I was having Android Auto issues until I swapped to it, no issues since.

Lol yeah....as far as early build....based on this thread, I guess so? Didn't know it was a thing until now. I didn't order the truck, just bought it off of the lot. Whod'a ever thunk all 2019 models of the same truck wouldn't be the same? SMH.
My Big Horn with Level 2 package has neither, back of the console is blank besides the air vents. I didn't even realize it until we got in the truck to take a trip and my daughter asked about it. I didn't think to look before but was very surprised to find nothing. However, there is 1 USB...
8 ohm, really? Is that the Alpine system or the standard one? I was thinking of replacing mine with some 2-3 ohm Polks or Infinitys like I have in other vehicles, because most OEM systems are 2 ohm.
