I went through this years ago with my 08 Laramie. 4 BFG tires, not the all terrains, but a more mild manner tires.
There was a Discount tire 15 minutes from my house that had a force balancer, only store around that did at that time (early 2010s).
I went back to Discount tire (closer, local...
Yep, that video clearly explains it, exactly how I thought it would be done.
GIMP is A free photo editing software title you can download and use to remove the “box” background.
there are several forums out there with people with photoshop that could do this easily.
I’d even bet…there are...
I have a 33 gallon in my 2023, had one in my 2015. When the low fuel light comes on and I’d fill it up I could never stuff more than 26 to 28 gallons in it.
I’ve never felt the need to run it on low fuel/empty long enough to truly test out how many more miles I could squeeze out of it...
When I used to work over at 10 Mile and Ryan in Warren, MI… I’d see the new trucks rolling down the road all the time.
They had a loop. The place that did (don’t know if it still does) stuff like adding side steps, spray in bedliner…those are all done off site (or were at that time). This was...
I’d try calling/emailing their tech support. Worst case scenario…crickets. I’d bet that’s a common question, personalization and function is the main point of this upgrade.
My turn signal didn’t cancel after a left turn either… I read here known problem. At that time, also read it was on back order.
Figure when I took it in for its first oil change I’d mention it to the dealer. At/around 6K miles, no more issues.
I can’t recreate the turn signal not canceling...
If you can get root access to the file system of that device, start looking for things labeled “Jeep”, “Startup” or do searches for JPEG…. If you find one that’s the red Jeep, see if you can swap it, use the same file name, overwrite it.
That’s just how I’d cheat to remove the red Jeep.
You must have the built for NASCAR edition.
What…too soon?
Did you have it since new? Just start? Any recent mods or repairs (tires, brakes, shocks, lift kit, etc.)?
Any chance it’s stuck in 4wd? Do you feel any lurching by the tires? Only when going left, not right?
Perfectly said.
If I would’ve joined and watched this forum before buying my truck and took everything as bible, I wouldn’t have bought the truck I have now.
Rampart lifter failure, too thin/too thick oil, exhaust manifolds….
Yes.
Did you see my post about fleet/commercial vehicles also being included?
Or the primary point, again…turbo V6s aren’t littering the side of the road ways, melting pistons, etc.
Understood and agree.
But…circling back, the primary point of the post was reliability.
If it’s a smaller motor, turbo, V6…and in a truck, I count it.
The question wasn’t about personal preference, $$ or buying power….
If it was, wholeheartedly agree with you.
Fair. F series is the best selling, not just half ton. Very true.
Second. Why discount and not include fleet trucks? If they’re not half ton and/or are electric, ok.
But if they’re half ton ICE…game on.
Agree with you on RAMs and primarily being V8s.
I question why you would discount...
I could do a google search for “Failure rate of cinder blocks” and find something.
What is the failure rate? 1 per 1K, 1 per 10K, per 100K.
If you take time to read these forums…it would scare you to death to buy anything.
From lifters, to trans, to leaking rear window, to eTorque, batteries...
