Yes sorry I debated about putting anything down as I didn't want it to turn to a political thing. I should haven known better. Thanks for not shutting it down and I apologize. Just the current climate I couldn't help myself.
Yeah, and they, China, doesn't contribute to carbon offset haha.
I agree they could make high quality stuff but I think they are more about quantity over quality unfortunately.
I'm in Canada, so I do blame trump. But it was a joke more or less.
Not about breaking the bank, it's a out getting parts that are good for the money. I don't kind spending more if the value is there for the part.
I thought people were saying MOOG has gone downhill compared to what they use...
So I'm thinking I'll need to replace my tie rod ends, I haven't jacked the truck up to check but my steering seems to "loose" when I go side to side with my steering wheel, I get a little shake when braking after releasing the brake pedal. So I'm thinking outer tie rod or inner or both.
I've...
How did you tap into F12? It's those square fuses so you can't use a fuse tap like you can with the smaller fuses.
Mine comes on with remote start but will not come on with my headlight switch.
I don't want to get into running inside not worth the hassle. I could tap into my parking light...
I got one of those hood lights, which by the way works with my hood deflector albeit it's harder to close the hood. We will see how long it last, it's the Silverholder one.
Anyhow right now I have it wired to fuse F35, which is the PCM / ECM / PPU MGU WAKE UP / EPS / ATMM / ESP. This works...
I know this is an old post, but I just ordered the 70" and waiting for it to be shipped.
How did the 79" work, is it not to long? I was thinking about do you get it under the corners of the fenders between the light and the corner?
Any pictures?
I have expenses warranty 160,000km (1000,000mi) so definitely covered since I only have 84,000km (52,000mi)
Just picked up from dealer and they confirmed both driver and passenger manifolds are leaking and have ordered the kit. Apparently it's on back order.
Does anyone know what comes in...
Hey everyone.
Thanks for the responses. I was in the fence with it being exhaust leak. I would say 50/50 between lifters and exhaust.
Is this manifold issue covered under warranty? Especially if it seems like an ongoing issue?
I hope my OneDrive video link works.
On startup I hear a clicking noise, almost like the lifters. This sound if I'm not mistaken has been here since new but my warranty is coming to an end in May 2024 and I wanted to have it checked (I should have done this awhile back). I think since lifting...
Well for those who are interested, I purchased the Hullavator system and roof racks. Thule manual states 4" to 8" between the feet and end of bar. I have a 60" bar and I'm 2.5" on both sides so I was worried as I'm 1.5" min away from there requirements. Waiting for a longer crossbar was going to...
For those who Kayak and have the Hullavator.
- How are you liking them?
- If your lifted (I've got Mopar lift) how is it pushing them up? Need a step ladder?
- What crossbar system are you using? Thule or other?
- How far do your rails extend?
- do you have the sunroof, can it still open?
-...
Hello Fellow 5thGeners
I'm starting to get the itch to upgrade from my Mopar Lift (which rides very nice I must say) to a 6" lift. I have my eyes on BDS or possibly Pro Comp (a company has a deal for under $5000CDN for 6" Pro Comp, 20" rim and 35s).
Does anyone have comparison pictures with...
The dealer told me my front brakes are at 8mm and the rears are at 4mm. Does anyone know what the stock thickness was? They want over $1000cdn to do the job, but I'll just do them myself.
Should I just replace the rears with something similar to stock and have the fronts and rears wear out...
I'm really liking the looks of the AJT shifter knob replacement and radio controls knows (12" screen). I would like to get rid of the silver knobz and replace them with the black ones (with blue bolts)
But wow $90usd (shifter) and $95usd (radio) plus $25usd for shipping.. $210usd ($290cdn)...
Countersinking the hole isn't a good idea, as the metal in the bar isn't very thick so you'd be taking away the integrity of the plate and holding strength of the bolt.
It's an idea but some others have warned against it as well.
I appreciate that, as it would be nice to seal it up at much as possible.
It's always nice when things come earlier lol. Especially 35 business days earlier haha.
