Same thing happened to me the first time I opened the rear window. It caught the child restraint loop and broke the terminals. Dealerships fix was to replace the rear window. Glass business that done the job said they could easily fix it with the conductive silver epoxy. Shame to replace the...
I used to throw 80 lbs. of softener salt in my ford during the winter for better traction. However, with my Ram that has a 33 gal. tank that I try to keep full in the winter, I'm hauling nearly 200 lbs. of fuel over the wheels. IMO adding any weight is just killing fuel mileage.
Same thing happened to my 2010 ford f150. Aways said door ajar. I could wiggle the wires in the rubber boot between the door and the jam and make it go away. The fix was to pull the rubber boot back and cut the wire loom open, solder and shrink wrap the broken wire. Rewrap the loom with tape and...
OK. I get it. I've got 13 yrs. on you and still enjoy my 14 ss. Same color, but yes there comes a time to move on. These new Rams are very comfortable. Enjoy.
It's not the angle. The center of the wheel feels like it's a little to the left of the center of my chest. Doesn't bother my driving experience, just seems odd it's not centered to my chest. Not a big deal, just wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing.
Am I the only one who feels like the steering wheel is centered slightly to the left of the driver seat? Not a problem, but now I think about it every time I get in. 2023 Laramie 1500.
update: I got my new rear glass and it looks great. Glass tech said its no fun to replace, but he has done quite a few. Not the way I wanted to go, but because it was under warranty, I had to do it and glad I did.
I am currently in the process of buying out my lease from ALLY. All they asked was I have any recalls done. Sent a check for the buy out amount, used docu sign for the paperwork. Now just waiting for the title. Having never leased before, it has been a process, but the discount they offered on a...
Update: Dealer ordered a new rear window, that's the fix. I would have been happy with trying the epoxy fix and then replace later if it didn't hold.
Talked to the glass tech that will be doing the replacement and said he's done several but it's a real pita to do.
After a little research, I think your on to something. I'd rather have it repaired than a whole window replacement. Watched a video on the replacement and it's a huge job. Still waiting for word on what they will do.
