I think the auto brake is staying off now after turning it on and off like you said. However now I tried to manually set the parking brake just to see. It tried to set the parking brake and then flashed service parking brake. This time it’s not going away and parking brake light is on and...
Do you have wheel spacers or anything? I thought 12.5 wide wouldnt clear upper control arms without some offset whether spacer or aftermarket wheels.
Looks really good.
New 2022 bighorn couple months old. 1,800 miles. 5.7 no Etorque.
I’ve had numerous occasions when I start the truck it will say service parking brake and brake light will be on. Try to cycle parking brake on and off and still shows light. Start driving and feels like brake isn’t on or anything...
My old 2500 had a prong in the middle that you could loop a tow strap over and I found it really handy at times. Anyone seen something like this for the fifth gen 1500?
I used my hooks quite a bit on my old truck so I need to get some on the new ride since it didn’t come with any.
Actually the two that are available are W13500098600-P2 that’s plus 13 or 6”
And W13509098575-P2 that’s plus 20 or 5.75”
Making the 20x9 pretty close to same as stock 20” wheel size I believe.
Has me tempted but wish they had a zero offset available
Brought my 3 week old truck into my heated shop for complete detail and rust protection. Clay bar then 2 coats of griots ceramic wax 24 hrs apart. 303 on all plastic trim inside and out.
Blaster surface shield on everything underneath. Inside frame inside bottom door edges and rockers...
I think that’s pretty good. Maybe see if you can get a good finance rate also if you’re financing. I’d question why it has 220 miles but probably not a big deal.
Lol you scared it.
Maybe it just took a while to get sorted out. Who knows. I did the factory reset on mine and got it working but had to set everything up again. If I try to change the theme it will make the home screen stick loading again and I gave it hours to sort out. Had to reset a second...
Thought I’d update this… well I went and bought a brand new 2022 Bighorn crew cab level 2, sport 4x4 granite crystal without the etorque. I like the idea of Etorque and all but I prefer not to deal with it so that was kind of a bonus for getting a 2022.
They let me cancel the order and apply my...
The home screen loading shouldn’t have anything to do with connected services. I get the same thing in my new bighorn. I reset the radio and it worked after that. If I try to change the theme it will do it again and won’t load home screen. Reset again and didn’t mess with theme and it works fine.
Hey guys. Finally got my new truck little over a week ago. Pretty happy with it so far but noticed one minor thing. When first opening the door I hear a little crackle or pop in the speaker system. Kind of like clicking on when the computer and dash wake up. Doesn’t do it if the dash and stuff...
You’ll handle your pontoon without a problem at all. Towing capacity is much higher than payload although payload will affect overall towing capacity. At most you’re going to have like 25% of your towed load weight on your hitch that will account towards payload.
Your payload is kind of low but...
I wonder if the Detroit Truetrac works in the new gen trucks.
It says 2011 to current ram 1500. rear end on 5th gen is the same as 4th?
Is traction control programmed differently for a factory standard diff truck vs anti-slip that switching to a limited slip might confuse any computer systems...
How is the standard differential on these trucks?
I always prefer to have limited slip but may have an opportunity to get a truck that has everything I need except it has a standard differential. Almost a deal breaker for me or is it not that bad?
4x4 and will see a decent amount of snow rain...
