For what its worth - I miss having an LSD but only in certain applications.
hwy and interstate traveling in ice conditions i prefer NOT having an LSD. My old truck would kick sideways in 2wd immediately as both tires would spin. Current truck i can leave in 2wd much longer as 1 tire will spin...
Were you aware that Ram offers a LSD but chose the offroad package with the E-locker anyway?
Keep us posted what you find out. Personally i would never remove a selectable elocker to go to a clutch type LSD setup. Previous truck had a factory LSD that i swapped for a truetrac. Current truck i'm...
But that's my point - gen 2 raptor isn't as great an all around vehicle and it showed in the test. Also - its supposed to be good at go-fast-over-bumps yet the back end kept kicking out on them due to leaf springs and shocks - PW was better at going fast over the rougher terrain/roads (exactly...
I've been browsing available warlocks...not many with ramboxes and the cloth seats and center console are a hold up for me but other then that really nicely equipped trucks
A PW bested the gen 2 raptor on a long drive comparison in 2017 (MT king of the north). If that comparison was redone today i think the raptor may have won due to the better shocks they went to finally in 2019, probably partly due to pressure from the ZR2 as well.
Point being, current PW and...
Our 2015 durango the auto braking has fully applied the brakes 2 times. I've gotten the warning to brake several times. Each time someone is making a slow right hand turn, and i am approaching them knowing they will be clear by the time i get there, so it was annoying. I've now learned to...
Yes there are a lot of factors. TFL uses 87 octane (10% ethanol blend in CO?) for Ram and is at elevation. They did a similar trip in December with Trailboss, Raptor, and that same Rebel pre-modifications...
Back around post #564 and after there was some discussion around TFLtruck MPG test results of their Rebel. Here is an updated video after they've added some Mopar accessories, and lift, and larger tires:
Previously they had gotten around 17-18 hwy MPG. After the mods they got just into the 19s.
Edit: Disregard - these all black seats were available for 2019
Maybe this has already been covered, but Rebel Black looks to get rid of the red seat sides and backs. Not sure why the left the door panels red though

I think, and could be wrong, that the auto publications have a misconception of FCA plans regarding the dakota. No FCA focused sites (including moparinsiders or allpar) seem to suggest the gladiator platform will be used for an upcoming dakota.
I don't really want trucks to float the other FCA offerings or brands, but Ram and Jeep are already in some ways.
It would be hard to sell a Dakota when there is a Ram classic on the lot for same or less money for more truck. If dakota comes back it would have to be after 2022 (when classic is...
That's funny, cause supposedly Manley stated Ram may be under inventoried, and FCA has lowered inventory levels by 100k

Exactly. Moving 1.25 million pound train on flat ground likely only requires a force of under 20,000 lbs

I know its from 2003, but basically in this situation they only have to overcome the initial starting resistance of the bearings, so 30...
As mentioned earlier, the brackets strengthen the bed side rails, which is more important now due to barn door function. Rambox do not need them as the wider base provides enough strength for the side rails as is (or maybe added structural components are hidden).
You're welcome to remove them...
