    Aftermarket rear replacement bumper revisited

Thanks for the clarification guys. I don't think I have that piece anywhere else then either, and I guess I don't know what my tailgate does with the door locks. And the reason I had to change it: All the cracks made the bumper too floppy to use.

    Aftermarket rear replacement bumper revisited

This is from ADD's website directions, but mine is empty there. Wolfstorm pics didn't explain anything.

DT Acceleration Slow Compared to DS

Thanks for doing this work Darksteel. Sad that a FCA engineer got paid to program crap like this. I would think gear zero is a release of hydraulic pressure to make stopping easier (in winter) and smoother with a tight converter. In an auto trans, without hydraulic pressure applied to a certain...

    Aftermarket rear replacement bumper revisited

Got the Wolfstorm in the mail yesterday, gonna need some cleanup grinding, welding, and repaint, but it's still a nice unit. Backup lights came with it, but I don't think I'll bother with them at the moment. No comments on backing into somebody again! 😄 Anybody know if Tradesman has a key...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I don’t know what series red chose, but stiffer bushings or heim type joints would help reduce sway when towing.

    Aftermarket rear replacement bumper revisited

I ordered the Wolfstorm. Will check the welds and repaint as needed. Probably Rustoleum flat black and then bed liner.

    Aftermarket rear replacement bumper revisited

Update on my slight accident. Plastic rear bumper couldn't be pulled back into any reasonable usage, so my body guy called for a price - $900 for the plastic bumper (out of pocket, at fault). Uh, no. So I'm looking in earnest now.

    Extended Travel CV Shaft

'19-'24 will be the same IN THE 5TH GENS. Now, the 4th gen continued on in production also, so that is the question that you need to ask Trakmotive. Any love for RCV?

What did you do to your Ram today???

I pulled a dump trailer half full of shingles and other non-burnable-in-town plastic trash to the dump. If your trailer dumps, they send you to the top of the pile, and you drive around on trash to a spot they point you to to dump. Now, trash does not hold your weight like solid ground. In 4wd...

    Replacement Lug Nuts

Costco said the same, altho they really wanted an upsell at the time, one yr old. I have no idea how anyone could pay $12 per nut; that's ridiculous. Shop around.

    Aftermarket rear replacement bumper revisited

The upgrades from your crappy situation also likely cost the insurance co' less than OEM, so they probably say sure for that reason. I like the idea of strength, but I got etorque already cutting into payload, that I wish I never ordered, so I probably am looking for a slimmer, simpler design. I...

Cost of living OT posts from What did you do to your Ram today???

Apparently political. A 5th grader could see that the quote was because all 5 states listed are coastal states. Politics in mcds prices? Would've got more respect if you left politics out of it. Back on topic...

Cost of living OT posts from What did you do to your Ram today???

We hit a mcds for a lite breakfast there one time before covid and for a family of 5 it was $75!!! If we go back as a couple, we'll definitely check the airbnbs.

    Aftermarket rear replacement bumper revisited

Gotta bring this to the top again. I backed into a Trax at 1mph. Scratched his plastic front bumper, but folded and dented my bumper and dented box in 2 spots. So much for Fed 5mph bumpers. I am looking for a little stiffer tube or plate bumper that won't fold against a plastic car, but doesn't...

    18s or 20s on Rebel?

Excepting boogielander 😄 (y) , consider the tire choices of 18 and 20. The majority of 275/60R20" are C, P, or SL range tires, but only a couple generals in 275/70R18, the rest being E range. E range ride stiffer and cut mpg, but may tow better and live longer in rocky terrain.

    Tread Wear Opinion

Make sure the 8/16" is not on passenger rear. I might be tempted to run the 13/16 pass rear and 8/16 driver rear, and swap sides as needed to burn up those 2, then replace 2. Rotate the fronts back then, they'll need it. This all assumes long term ownership. Obviously assumes no 4wd modes on...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I didn't watch the video yet, but is the pump at the same level in the 33 gal tank? I would want that lower also so I knew I could get the whole tank.

Anyone running GM wheels on their Ram? Any pics to share?

This came up as well in a previous thread, and I thought the difference was about the thickness of 3 sheets of paper. Most people don’t use hub rings on lug centric wheels, but some people don’t understand yet. At least a half inch spacer for a GM wheel would be a good idea, as some Ram wheel...
