Outside temp reading 8 to 10 degrees high most of the time on a 2025 ram 1500 Laramie.

TY! Found it. Unplugged, cleaned off a little rust and corrosion on the probe, reconnected, doesn’t look like much sun in our future…but will be interested to see if anything changes.

Outside temp reading 8 to 10 degrees high most of the time on a 2025 ram 1500 Laramie.

Link to that thread @boogielander ? Mine is usually off 10 degrees or so, most notably on sunny days.. but it usually does come down after driving a few miles. I have no doubt it’d due to direct sunlight.

Is Air Suspension really that great?

Older thread, my input.. I had my 2015 LImited in the dealership 4 times for the air ride. Always seemed to crap out on me in the cold weather. However, when it worked, the ride was outstanding. 29K on my 2+ year old Limited, zero air ride issues. Rides amazing with 22” rims. My truck is my...

'25 Waiting for Backordered ABS Module - Lemon?

You could work with a lawyer and/or learn about your states lemon laws. They do vary from state to state. Typically, Lemon laws center around same thing failing in a certain time frame. They typically don’t cover a major nuisance… however, since many factory safety items are not working, you...

    200,000 mile report

Now you’ve gone and done it. You’re gonna tweak the must change the oil every 3 to 5K crowd and backed it up with results. On my 4th RAM with a Hemi. I’ve always changed oil at factory recommended intervals via the dash, and it’s usually in the 8 to 10K mile range, depending on my...

FIXED: (updated) Pano roof / head liner rattle/click over small bumps

Did it. Not perfect, but now… I really don’t notice it going down the road. However, when I’m turning… typically into a driveway… or something lower speed, bumpy, etc., I still have it. not as pronounced as it was before. Both my screws were tight. I loosened each 1/4 turn. I also applied some...

FIXED: (updated) Pano roof / head liner rattle/click over small bumps

Thanks Mike_ct. Doesn’t really bother me…but, it’s there. Gonna check this out later. Report back as well.

    Mopar MaxCare extended warranty...worth it??

Good on you Chris! In the US we’re not so lucky. Shame… I literally live about 3 miles from where the trucks are built :) As I’ve said elsewhere, it’s great you shouldn’t have to come out of pocket for a big item ticket. But, as you’re experiencing, doesn’t help if parts are on order. As...

    Mopar MaxCare extended warranty...worth it??

Out of curiosity, which warranty… and how much of the rental is covered? For Max Care, and it’s either 25 or 35 a day, for 7 days…

    Mopar MaxCare extended warranty...worth it??

Maybe.. 2026 100K warranty is powertrain only. These trucks have so much tech in them…and hourly dealership rate is up there…. Just have to look at all it covers and make the call. :)

    Windshield on crack

My ceramic/PPF guy talked to me about windshield coatings. Great for low mileage, low use cars. For daily drivers, eventually it will get hazy, scratch, etc.. I thought about it for my Wranglers.. as vertical as their windshield are… they are rock/chip magnets LOL. But in the end, I have glass...

Mopar coverage - prices worth it? (Already did Assurant when I bought the truck)

Never used Assurant. Had Chrysler MaxCare on my 2015 Limited Ram and it more than paid for itself over the 8 years, 140K plus miles I put on before trading it in. Have it on my 2023, but unfortunately, max when I bought it was 8/125K. I plan on trading in once I’m at the mileage or years...

    Mopar MaxCare extended warranty...worth it??

As someone who had lifetime powertrain on my 2008 Ram Laramie and the unlimited miles max care on my 2015 limited. I also purchased 8year, 125K mile max care for my 2023 Limited. Knock on wood, 27K miles on my 2023 Limited no real issues yet. A few items replaced under factory bumper to bumper...

Cylinder 3 Misfire after Washing Truck with very rough idling.

Or a bad connector for cyl 3. Can you reset the code and drive it? I can’t see a spark plug going bad from a wash. I can’t see a bad connector, wire, etc., related to that cylinder.

    Do you use 4WD Auto?

Same. Heavy snow accumulation, it goes to 4 Hi.

2025 outside temperature reading way off

Completely normal. I believe the temp sensors are in the side view mirrors…and they’ll bake in the sun like the interior of your truck. Give it a few minutes…it’ll level out once driving.

E TORQUE was a big mistake.

Keep in mind, 8yr/80K miles on the whole system warranty. Does that help if parts aren’t in stock, no, and I get that. I have a 8yr 125K mile max care, which doesn’t cover the 48V battery pack past 80K but it does cover the generator. From $1500 to $2500 for the 48V battery should it go bad in...

E TORQUE was a big mistake.

There’s a pretty good video of a lead engineer that worked on the e-torque and he goes over each “feature” of it while someone else is driving. Here you go…not an overly long video…but it does a good job explaining.

E TORQUE was a big mistake.

More than fair. My comparison is three prior rams, all Hemi, 06, 08, and a 15. I went 3:21 in my 2023 cause I really don’t tow too much anymore.. if anything, I don’t feel a slight dip going from gear to gear. I 100% can tell… regenerative braking. Going from car to car… big difference slowing...

E TORQUE was a big mistake.

That’s actually not accurate. S/S is only one feature. Other benefits…we can debate if they are useful or not, sure. But S/S is only one feature of e-t. Plenty of videos and documentation about its other features. Again, not arguing if they’re useful/beneficial, that’s personal opinion. Just...
