This is prob gonna work better for your classic than the dsr1. But would still inline a dsp to it.
Maybe you have to pug in behind the head unit. Not really familiar with the classics' setup, sorry. But look around on pac's website or idatalink's to see what they have available for the classics.
If you're planning to keep the other speakers powered with the factory amp, then the dsr1 is not the right choice. The dsr1 is for when you want to run all the speakers from aftermarket amps and remove the factory amp/ acn.
I just came up on 220 amp alternator from a wrecked 2019 ram 1500. Does anyone know if they are direct replacement for the 180 amp alternator since it from factory?
I also have the alpine system and I also installed infinity ref 3032cfx and 9623ix at first. But once I put them to an aftermarket amp, they could not handle the extra power. Especially the 3032cfx being only 25 watts rms, I had the 9623ix's powered with about 85 watts and they're supposedly 100...
I got my new Skar Audio SVR-10D2's in earlier today, $192 for the pair. Going to connect one to each EX5 amp at 1 ohm each for a total of 1600 rms wattage (rated). It's gonna be a while till I installed everything, I'm going to make my own box.
I got my new Skar Audio SVR-10D2's in. It's gonna be a while till I install everything, especially because I am going to make my own box. I didn't like what was available either.
I recently purchased 2 of the Massive Audio EX5, 5 channel amp. At 1 ohm it's rated for 800 watts rms. I have yet to install them so I cannot say that it is as advertised. But he's the link, was the cheapest I could find. Also there is an additional 10% off on sale price...
Yeah that's what happened lol. I had them wired to the Pioneer amp, rated wattage @ 4 ohm is 75 and 2 ohm is 100. So I figured it would be about 80 watts for the Infinity's since they're in between but somehow they still couldn't take it.
Down the road, I plan to swap out the amps to 2 Massive Audio EX5 amps and go with 2 10" Skar Audio SVR-10D4. I like how the single 12" sounds but I think I need more low end power. It should be what I'm looking for, 1600 watts rms instead of 600 watts rms.
My truck came with the 8.4" non nav alpine system so I went with the Rockford Fosgate DSR1 for stock integration. For the door speakers I went with Skar Audio FSX65-4 for the fronts and Kicker 46CSC9634 for rear. In the dash corners and rear headliners I put PRV TW350TI-4. And I made a custom...
