please stop. your spreading false information. zoom in on the attached picture. you can see the crack in the frame goes under the sealer and to the window channel. the water sits right in the outside channel when it rains and goes right down the crack into your car. it as simple as that.

yes if you look they crack right at the tabs. if you take your 3rd brake light out and look at the top of the window you can see there are 2 metal tabs right above the those plastic channels. i bet with the body flexing and the freeze thaw weather it breaking that plastic frame.
