I feel like I've seen you do this numerous times over the past few yrs lol. Is that accurate? It obviously impacts me zero but I'm like "dang, giving some more love to that corvette! This is like the 100th time." Lol
Picked the truck up yesterday. Nice to have it not sound like crap on start up. Took an extra day because I left my wheel lock key in my locked center console safe. Other wise pretty painless experience. No long wait time for me compared to others. Hopefully I don't have to revisit this thread...
I've got a 2020 with 52,xxx miles on it so far. You can see my signature for total options but it's been pretty much flawless besides the exhaust manifolds which have plagued the Hemi for many moons. I've had no weird abnormalities with my etorque system. Pano sunroof has been flawless. 12"...
Dropping the truck off this evening to have the driver's side manifold repaired. I had to inquire about an ETA on the parts. They failed to notify me that they'd been in for a week 😒. I guess the passenger side replacement is still holding up well. Maybe a full replacement set will be enough for...
That seems abnormally long. Totally understand your frustration though. The unfortunate thing is there's not a legit truck without some issues. Now the latest worry from GM is the roofs splitting 😂
No. The 4th gens had an issue with the bolts snapping. It's very well documented that the 5th gens strengthened the bolts. So now the manifolds crack. Some are thinking that the latest revisions of OEM manifolds have been strengthened and they've been adding some additional...
Yes. Mine is covered under the 5yr/60k powertrain warranty. So you should be covered but cutting it close. I'm at 52,000 on my truck so I'm right there with you at the end of the road.
Finally took my truck in this past Friday to have them check out the tailgate recall and driver side exhaust manifold. Manifold has been ordered with an expected delivery date of 12/26-12/29. Hopefully that's true because I'd love to get it knocked out while we're kind of in a lull with the...
That's interesting..Did some more research and online seems to point to all rams since 2013 called for the purple. The purple turns a reddish hue after running for several thousand miles.
Yes, you probably have the issue. I'm unsure if the 3rd gens did it but I'm assuming they may have. The 4th gens definitely did it. They would break the bolts more often than crack the manifold. Now they've strengthened the bolts but the manifolds crack.
Ramcharger drive modes straight from the ram website -
"Manage your truck’s energy and performance. Select between Electric Mode, E-Save Mode, and Eco Mode, and additionally choose Charge-Depleting Mode, Battery Hold Mode, eAWD Mode, or eSport Mode to optimize energy consumption and to enhance...
I was just going off MSRPs. I can find Limiteds locally for 58k but msrp of 73k for example on the "cheap" end. The big horns I mentioned had MSRPs ranging from 48k to 66k per cars.com with no fancy additions. So I was just working off a decked out big horn with the new powertrain to figure...
Well you can make the case that we're already there. It's not so bad if you already have a truck to trade in/sell. If you're getting your first truck and a well equipped big horn is almost 70k that's a big ask for your typical middle American but I digress.
