I just dont see enough difference to keep the commander on my truck. It’s awesome on my brothers Charger but the difference on my rig isn’t as noticeable. Course I’m not an aggressive driver. But I can’t see how to release the harness to remove it. What am I missIng?
I received a replacement DSR1 and it is working tons better. I think I had multiple levels of issues.
The radio on the 6 speaker system does not put out a flat signal. I can bypass the ANC and use speaker level inputs to the DSR1 and it is working great. I don't need resisters with the DSR1 in...
I didn't know it was possible. Apparently, there are a few devices out there and the possibilities are quite intriguing. Maybe I can change the signal from my lousy 6 speaker system so I can use an Amp Replacement device for my stereo upgrade (with fixed amplitude CAMBus signals). Plus add some...
Hey Dox, thanks... exactly what I was leaning towards. The only negative on the Fix 86 is no timing adjustments. .. .means I need a TwK too. Or do you know of something else that has everything in a single unit for less $$? (that works, hahaha). I'd hoped I'd get that with the DSR1.
Yeah, the speaker level inputs doesn't do any good in my testing so far. The DSR1 has speaker level and sounds bad. Could be the DSR1... but based on my tests I'd be surprised. I'll try a few other things though to make sure. I think I need a high end DSP that is designed to fix crap like this...
For me, I'm not going to get anything from the DSR-1. They did finally get my truck in and confirmed that I'm not getting a flat signal from the radio, and my CAM Bus is not doing anything. So the Maestro side of the house doesn't do, nor will ever do, anything. The flat signal and can bus is...
I'm still trying to find a way to upgrade the audio in my 6 speaker Bighorm. It's a nightmare. I'm reaching here, but I'm wondering if there are other outputs available on the back of the radio or in the harness. The front and rear feeds from the radio that feed to the ANC module under the seat...
Upgrading the standard 6 speaker system is a nightmare.
For the 6 speaker system, the amp looking thing under the seat appears to be more of a DSP than an amp. Unlike the higher systems, the signals from the radio are speaker level and the can does not appear to control anything. That means...
At some point or another, the system or instructions prompted me to install every one of those apps for my 2019 truck.
After messing with it, I'd settled on My Ram and Uconnect (NOT Uconnect Access).
I have the base 6 speaker system. I've been told that device under the seat is an amp and I've also been told it it's just a noise cancellation device. Somehow I need to figure out what it is and how to deal with it in order to upgrade my stereo system to awesome. Any help would be appreciated...
The list of voice commands in the manual is not only vague, it seems limited.
Is there a way to specify a POI using a voice command? I've read where people are discovering other commands that seem to work. Has anyone seen a more extensive list than the rough examples given in the manual like...
In setting up my new truck, I've been prompted at one point or another to install their apps. I now have 6 apps on my iphone.
Uconnect Access
Uconnect
SXM Gardian
My Mopar
My Ram
My Dodge
Uconnect Access doesn't work for me. Says I need to call them. I'm guessing it's similar to Uconnect and...
I've almost got everything wired up. Still looking for a good solid ground behind the passenger seat in the back. Back seat bolts are a possible option. Any suggestions?
Here's what I've done...
8 New sets of Speaker Wires: A set to each door and four sets to the dash (mids and tweeters). If...
I've used a lot of different cables for Car Play over the years. I've never had a cable that was the issue (when it was able to charge, Car Play worked too). Check YoAdrian's advice... make sure it is enabled on the phone. That sounds like the most logical thing.
Here's a pic of the stock speaker. I don't know what it is rated watt wise. Not even sure if it's 2 or 4 ohm. I've never been a fan of just replacing stock speakers and not throwing an amp in there. I've heard some people say they've improved a system that way, but I can't imagine it's much of...
