I could come up with plenty of examples, but the fact is technology gets better and people hate change. 911 owners lost their mind when they went to a twin-turbo set-up, but the engine is far superior now, and just lacks a bit of the 4.0 flat 6 sound. No one is complaining that their car is...
This thread is funny. A bunch of grumpy old men it seems like. You guys probably felt the same away about fuel injection. "I will never get a car without a carburetor"
Ram sells a ton of trucks, and a strong majority of buyers don't care what it sounds like. Give them more power and better fuel...
Re-confirmed my thoughts from years ago lol. If it somehow got much better MPGs I would be in. I like the quietness of my truck, and performance is saved for other cars.
It's been a few years now and I don't want to read 1200 posts. What is the general consensus on this? Look cool/sound cool/open up some room? Any noticeable gains anywhere?
So far so good but haven't driven much. I was on 34.2 so jumped a few updates. I don't like fixing something that ain't broken however my 12.1 started rebooting pretty often. Did it on back to back trips, and if using CarPlay the SXM buttons on screen didn't really work. So far I haven't seen...
This worked after 2 more tries. Hopefully my rebooting issues go away now.
Side Note: After update I saw it say it was installing Performance and Off-Road Pages. Don't really need them - but would be cool to turn on since they are in the background somewhere.
Install premise isn't too difficult. Would have been better on a lift with maybe tire off. Would have been better with better tools too. I tried using hand tools only but eventually gave in and used impact. The bolts are on there tight, a small breaker bar is enough, but I had to keep using the...
Mine blows cold - but my Wrangler blows MUCH colder. What is weird when driving longer distances - I can hear like the door open every 30 minutes or so and the pressure/sound changes for a few minutes then back to normal.
Companies are catching up but no doubt Tesla is still the leader and benchmark. Everything is compared to them. They probably are still #1 sales even with a tax disadvantage.
I searched more on the brake thing and ordered the TSB fix, I will do it my self.
Anyway to test which part may be broken? Looks like the clock spring assembly is $250.
