Thanks all, I asked my dealer to order me one we'll see what reply I get. Would prefer to order it as mentioned above, would hate to screw someone else. If it was not for the wife questioning it , I may never had even asked or took awhile before I even noticed it.
Question, I have a 2020 4x4 crew cab Laramie with the level 2 package and a bunch of the other goodies. I have the six passenger configuration versus the counsel in the middle. On the driver's side door there is a nice foam cup/bottle holder but there is no similar insert on the passenger...
An update, they state it is the ABS module and it will take a week to get it in, so now the truck will sit for a week while I drive the loaner they gave me. I hope that is truly the issue.
Just had the same issue on a 2020 1500 Eco diesel with 1500 miles on it. Just towed a 2000 lb load for about 75 miles, no issues, parked it in the driveway for two days and then started it up and all the codes came up at start up.. Similar to above they all appear brake related as the ABS...
Love my diesels and would not at this time move to a gas engine. I have had three the last two the RAM eco diesels. I do get much better gas mileage than I do with the company Ram Hemis as I commute 150 miles a day it made a big difference, I like the power of the diesel. Having driven both...
I have a 2020 Laramie with all the options I could get, but went with the 3.21 rear versus the 3.92 and an LSD versus electronic locker - prefer the LSD (for slick roads at highway speeds - don't mud or rock climb anymore - as the traction control does not really kick in as fast as the LSD at...
Seems heavy on the hitch, I have a 3500 lb capable trailer, loaded to about 3,000 lbs with boulders every weekend, the heaviest on the hitch was about 400, usually around 350. No WDH but I have never had a sway issue on the trucks, I do have air suspension on the last two (2016, 2020) and load...
My old truck was beat up by the gravel but the last two trucks I have added Husky mud flaps - front and back and no issue with chips, hopefully it will work for you.
I have the metal one from my 2016 and it worked on my 2020. Not sure you get the same o-ring fit due to the ribs on the truck side. Would be curious what the bottom side of the $40 dollar one looks like, does it seal better or similar too my old one?
If you are going to install it, take your time. One issue I had was the front weather-stripping was fused together so I bought a replacement from the local hardware store for about 6 dollars - did not want to wait. The key installation is on the rails, they need to be square and though I did...
I can give you some idea, I had a BK X2 on my 2016 and never had an issue with the locking mechanism even with all the snow and cold. The top would get a little stiff in the winter but if you take it slow and get the snow clear it still rolled up and the locking mechanism function perfectly. I...
Hopefully you made it back safe, I have heard you could have cylinder damage if you let it go for a long time but I have no idea what that time would be or the type of driving needed to create the issue. I would be curious on the amount of work it took.
No idea what they metal is but use to build industrial picnic tables for the DNR and poles for utilities that were heavy and made form a metal called Core-10. It actually weathered with a rust coating that protected it.. As mentioned above sometimes surface rust may not be an issue.
An update from the dealership - That is a normal outcome. Heat cycles and how the engine circulates the fluid will cause the color to change. Lets me sleep a little better though it will bring to question do you add OAT orange or OAT purple (MOPAR?). A decision for a different time and...
Thanks, that is reassuring - I'll assume it starts as the purple and then fades to the pink with use, still curious what the dealer will stay. All temps are correct or similar to my last engine and I now have 400 miles on with no leaks or changes so that is still a good thing. I will admit I...
I picked up my new 2020 ecodiesel a few days ago. When I was at the dealer I popped the hood and saw that the antifreeze was a purple color, the truck had 60 miles on it. I just drove it about 200 miles and popped the hood and the color changed to a pink. My question is this right? With all...
An update, on my 2016 with the 8 inch screen, under the apps/travel link when I select fuel and I believe it was settings I could default to 4 options regular, midlevel, premium and diesel. After that it has always come up with the diesel default. I would hope they kept the same functionality...
I thought my 2016 would remember that, I'll check this afternoon. I have the 2020 on order with the 12" but I know from other posts they have changed a few things related to the new guardian versus the old Uconnect so it would be unfortunate if it did not remember the diesel setting. Sounds...
Bought 11 Tradesman in January for the business (finally in the dealer getting equipped with toppers, light bars, LED light flashers back and front and signage) and bought 10 last year added a few options to the tradesman like the trailer package and a better radio though not the big screens...
