Your ride quality won't improve even when adjusting air pressure as the Nitto Ridge Graplers are a 12 ply tire. Pretty much indestructible but will always ride like a wagon across the Kansas plains. After about 20,000 miles it progressively gets a little worse.
I did have a gap over the tailgate itself but I bought some weatherseal from Lowe's and it fit perfectly. I understand the Ramboxes don't lift 100% up because of the weatherseal from the track system on the Retrax but it's certainly nothing I can't live with.
Retrax Pro MX on my girl. Installed it myself in about an hour. Fit is excellent along with finish. No leaks through 2 rain storms lately. Looks awesome IMHO. Hope this helps.
I know right.
But seriously if you have any doubts PM your cell and I can call or text you. I bought a cheap trim tool kit from the auto parts store for like $15 and a very small set of picks for $10. After I set in the wire taps I wrapped the connections with a little bit of black tape just...
So, with all the guessing from small upper piece and lower piece, I admittedly was getting nervous using my trim tool to try and remove the upper piece. So I fold the mirror over as far as I can and I take my trim tool and wedge it in the hole with the neck of the mirror itself and pry. I...
Here was my Denali 6.2L because it had the corvette motor, bought it to pull 2 Sea Doos. Thing is a slow dog with a child's first tablet as a screen.
Here is my F-150. Notice the "beefier" all terrain truck tires. No off reading, just dirt lease roads to the rig. 3.6L Twin Turbo smoked...
Beefier is in no way correct. Wider yes but a Goodyear highway car tire is not an all terrain truck tire. But I do see the point you're trying to make.
How did you pop off or remove the plastic upper and lower mirror trim pieces? Everyone says use a plastic tool but no description on how to actually use it. Thanks
They need to reduce the sales price by $3,000.
Also, I'd ask for $0 down. I know my payment would be a little higher but $6,600-$7,000 I'll keep in my pocket.
I have the exact same setup and thought I must be doing this wrong. Not only is their a finger gap over the tailgate but using the words waterproof or water resistant and Retrax in the same sentence is asinine and a complete lie. Thabks for your write up and pictures. Helped me a lot. Now if...
1JK, yes my Retrax works perfect. Fit and finish are excellent, no leaking nor operation issues at all. Extremely happy with it. You just have to ensure that you order one that asks if it's the new body style (2019-2020) with Ramboxes, other than that, no worries.
A write up you might be interested in. If you have any thoughts, impressions or ideas please let me know.

Full disclosure, I'm not a writer nor have been asked to endorse Ram in any way. I'm one of ya'll and these...
Just a quick glance, in my head that 20% off MSRP. Pretty good deal anywhere. Just make them add the trailer brake controller which wont cost that much to have them install.
Yeah, that's where they eventually "get you" do you want it and shut up or tell them no and walk away. I walked away from my deal over the tonneau cover, $229 difference. I'm like no I've got a we owe and a signed contract, not my fault yall lost the Black Friday sale price by waiting 3 days...
