I am considering switching from 5w to 0w-20 for better cold startup oil flow. There are many misconceptions about the 0w oil weight.

It was such a pain getting the fittings clocked correctly and then getting all the fittings tight enough with such little space there. Have to get crafty with the wrenches.

My software update completed yesterday and now this morning i noticed the dash was on all night. Where it says "Press brake and push start". Did not have that problem before the update :unsure:

All Mopar parts. Just Had them installed today. Both manifolds were cracked right in the middle.

The adapter plate is held on by the center fitting. You will probably need to at least undo the middle hose to tighten it up more. It maybe wouldnt hurt to contact pac brake and get a new set of o-rings for the plate if that is the problem.

I have read concerns about the Cold startup oil pressure being 75psi + When using the XG2. I currently run the Larger Wix 57899XP and cold startup pressure is around 60-62psi.

you pray first. Welding a nut to the broken stud in the head is the go-to in that situation. Just a little 115 volt welder will do the job. Get a spool of flux cored wire.

The hoses for the pac brake kit do not touch the frame. One hose comes close to the trans cooler line, but just install some loom over the hose and it is good. I tried and you will not find a better kit than the pac brake.

I'm not talking about the lower dam, I mean shutters that block off the airflow to the rad. Would like to keep oil temps a little cooler. Just wondering if I can control those shutters to open a little sooner.

Has anybody used alpha to disable the Active grille shutters? Or to keep them open all the time?
