Hey Haully, wondering if you had any revelations on this issue. I had to have a manifold replaced, but it unfortunately didnt fix this sound that you & I have. Disappointing to say the least, not susre why I had my hopes up!
So it looks like a rock punched a hol ine the plastic surround of my Rebel's grille. Anyone got any crafty ideas on how to repair? New grille is roughly 400 bucks.. ouch. I was hoping I could just order the "surround" part because it seems to detach from the rest of the grille but I've had no...
Get some irrigation syringes fill them up with the permatex. They're curved, and my window had a very tight gap between the body and frame and these are very thin on the end. Cut them to the size you need to fit. Photo attached to show the syringes.
There'll be icicles in hell on the day I sympathize for companies that make billions in profits while getting bailouts with taxpayer money, raise MSRP's by 25% during a global pandemic due to supply chains because that's just "supply and demand baby" (and they don't come back down once supply...
I used a wire wheel to clean off all the flakes and pits the best I could, then I brushed on two coats of some satin black rustoleum paint. 6 months later and it looks the same as the day I painted, shall see how it holds up through the winter.
Yeah, I hear ya. I have this sound but have not had my manifolds replaced, and haven't taken the time to visually inspect them yet either so maybe I'm just an optimist hoping that's what it is. I have this exact noise as well, and logic tells me that it's something internal as well. Some with...
I'm wondering if you know for certain that the entire manifold itself was replaced. Some people seem to be adamant that this is a cracked manifold sound, and replacing the actual manifold solved it.
I only ask because when I had broken manifold bolts, and when the dealer fixed them they said...
The problem is with the frame design itself, not from the actual sliding portion. And in my case, of the third leak spot I just found, it's just plain old poor installation work.
2019 1500. Rear window frame cracked at top, so I used flowable silicone along the top and top corners. That fixed those leaks. Carpet still getting damp under rear passenger seat. Brake light didn't show signs of leakage, but I replaced the seal anyway due to the leak. I checked the sunroof...
I noticed that my coolant reservoir is nearly empty. Popped the rad cap off, and rad is full. The reservoir dipstick is dry, but the reservoir appears to be quite small. Has anyone used the "all make, all model" jug of prestone for topping up your coolant? The specs of the coolant say that...
