My 22 Rebel lease was up so I got into a 25 Rebel X and have a few questions after the first week that maybe someone has answers for.
-Seamless entry. This is supposed to be a new feature that will unlock your doors on approach but it does not work for me. Sometimes the lights will come on but...
The oem tires that come on rebels are e rated tires and can be inflated up to 60psi cold max. Ram has them set lower 45/55 based on the weight of the truck and you don’t get much wiggle room in those settings before getting warned. The dealer ‘should’ be able to alter those thresholds for...
I had 1.5” spacers on my 22 Rebel for 60000k. Stance was perfect and no issues with them what so ever. Shopping for new ones right now for my 25 Rebel.
So the fogs are still led?
Well heading to check out a Rebel x mojave sand level 2 tomorrow, we’ll see if all the new tech makes up for the 20 year old exterior lighting
Looking at 25 Rebels now as my 22’s lease is nearly up. So aside from the headlights are all exterior lights back to incandescent bulbs inc fogs?
This is a major bummer, exterior lighting is such an important part of the overall look of vehicles these days and going back to 2005 lighting is...
I’ll go against the grain… previous Ram 2018 Sport with 20” wheels and 3.92 gears, current Ram 2022 Rebel 18” wheels with heavy 33” duratracs and 3.92 gears and my 22 Rebel seemed quicker from a dig and in highway passing.
My 2022 does this in reverse as well, has since it was new. Dealer says none of the tsb’s are for my truck so even thought it does everything described in the tsb’s they won’t deal with it. It’s a lease and I won’t be keeping it so I really don’t care anyway.
Kind of the same problem here, since the truck was new many of the ‘lines’ in the window didn’t defrost and now its down to only 1 or 2 that do. Finally remembered to ask the service department about in on last service and they have ordered a whole new window under warranty.
Had them on my 2018, they worked well to control squat but sadly did not survive the first winter. Also in Canada, both bags looked like they froze and then just fell apart.
The real winners of unions are the lazy, unreliable chronic sick leave employees. Everyone makes less money because of them. I would bet without the UAW there would be 25% less employees and much higher wages for everyone else.
Just an update, all was back to normal the next day. Nothing new that I can see. Airplay connectivity might be a little less finicky but still doesn’t connect every time without help
Glad to hear yours went back to normal, hoping mine is as well when I start up this morning. My Apply carplay was acting up quite a bit the last 2 months or so after working nearly flawlessly for quite some time so hopefully it improves. The infamous loud buzzing system crash also came back and...
I got an actual software update today and several things are messed up now.
- instead of showing the actual temperature with numbers there is a silly bar that goes from blue to red. Only a bar for driver side, passenger side has nothing
-passenger no longer can control climate, dual climate...
I believe if you have forward collision warning with active braking then the hardware is there. You will have a very sizable ‘box’ against the windshield behind the rearview mirror that contains the camera(s).
Its so bizarre that RAM has made something like a tailgate open light an option on trucks that cost this much money, its mind blowing really. I had a 1989 honda civic that had a trunk open light, I think it was even standard equipment 🤣
