We live in Colorado and went up to the mountains this weekend. We noticed the built in nav was a bit off and didn't show our elevation. Fast forward to today, and it looks like it's not receiving a signal from the gps (see pic). It thinks I'm in some ocean, which I assure you is far away from...
I purchased the Tazer DT which remembers the last state of the auto start stop button. I dont mind it most of the time, but disable it in the summer as theres a funky smell when the ac kicks on after being off for a bit.
Ive put a few hundred miles on these and wanted to give an update. There is a bit of an MPG hit, but hard to define how much (1-2mpg?) since we're in winter fuel now. They are slightly louder than stock on the highway, but nowhere near as loud as I was fearing (ANY sounds drive me crazy)...
Im ok with mine. Having extensive stereo systems in my cars/trucks since the mid 90s, this is the first stock system that im ok with. That said, im probably getting older....
After about a year of research, I went with toyo at3 for a few reasons: taller tire size is limited in 22" rims, I wanted good tires for the snow (3 mountain peak rated), and wanted an aggressive look.
Anyone out there making a module to over ride some of these settings, such as elocker disengages above 25 mph or speed restrictions on the air suspension heights?
Didnt have to add anything. Took a heat gun into the garage for about 10 mins yesterday and got all rubbing to go away; didnt have to trim anything. I put it in aero, and made sharp turns in forward and reverse until all rubbing was gone. So glad I went with the 285/55/22...I debated that for...
I seem to recall a device that allowed you to change various options (keep tow/haul, auto start/stop setting when turning on your truck) but cant figure out which one it was. Im ultimately trying to change my tire size, but if I could have a few more settings to play with for a bit more $$, it...
Ive had my truck since november of 2019 and still no fix. Had it at the dealership a few weeks back for some minor issues, this being one, and the only one they didnt fix. My ghetto fix is to make sure I turn off the start/stop feature in the summer so i dont smell it. Fortunatly the weather...
Ive been debating on what tires and what size to buy since I bought my truck. Finally decided on the Toyo AT 3 as they'll be a good tire for winter driving in the Colorado Rockies. I know I'll need to do some trimming on the wheel well liner, but no biggie. Ive seen other trucks on here with...
You were able to get 35" 12.50s on without a lift/level? Im on the cusp of buying some tires and want to go as big as I can without causing too many headaches.
