Don’t see that as giving any real go improvement. It would just be a manual shift capability that doesn’t currently exist in my truck. I have no need to go faster at this point in my life.

Haha! Not something I have any plans for. But I did find out I can flash the TCM to a GT calibration and have working manual shift. May look into that down the road.

It was cheaper and better to swap the TRX interior than to reupholster my existing seats. My passenger seat was originally manual. Already sold the original seats and console so the whole thing cost me less than $800. I am picking up two front TRX door...
Probably true if you are not swapping an entire console. The other side is already pinned to the same wiring scheme if you have a full replacement GT or TRX console. But good point nonetheless.
Also, I think its a good possibility that any trim level with the GT option may already have these...

So, I already have a 2023 with 12 inch. But I have a question on the bezel. Does anyone know if the 22 up bezel is different than the previous years 12 inch bezel? I am upgrading the interior to a higher trim level and may want to swap out the bezel.
But, the fact that the cluster reacts to the shift from D to S suggest some function is occurring. It is likely useless though. I don’t mind as I don’t want that function really. Just want to put it all in this thread for anyone who might be searching.
yeah, I wasn’t expecting it to perform like that. But I read somewhere it would do the gear limiter functions instead. So I am not sure how that should be programmed, or if it really is possible.
So, the S mode on the shifter is still not functional. Played around with some AlfaOBD settings and I have only been able to get it to recognize the shift over to S mode. This happens by simply choosing 5 POS rotary eshifter PRNDS. It doesn’t even light up when using the default 4 POS setting...
Can anyone tell me what harness pins I need to buy for the OEM console harness connector? I know they are 1.5 female but there are many variations for the actual pins.
Here is what I did to my Ram yesterday. For anyone not following the console shifter swap thread, I was able to get the console shifter working by simply unplugging the rotary connector and extending it, wire to wire, to the body to console connector. Keep in mind I have a complete TRX console...
Not all the boxes work with the 12” screen. They just don’t auto scale properly. I had to return one because of this. I believe the smaller screens work fine though. They all run similar software, but some brands update better than others.
