Does anyone have direct experience with this cat-back and the Ram/Borla, or the Rebel GT?
I had the Ram/Borla on my 2019 and it was too loud for my preference, but the silence I get from my 2022 is killing me.....
This video is difficult to gauge loudness. I believe it is comparable to my 2019...
Picked up the new truck yesterday. Get this message as well. I was thinking it might be related to the fuel consumption calculator, but have not had time to read the manual. Appreciate that someone posted the images above.
Thank you.
The sales manager mentioned something similar.... I'm kinda in a pickle though. The truck is going to a separate company as soon as possible to have clear film, tint, and ceramic coating done next week. The dealer wants a signed contract to coordinate all this.
I ordered a 1500 limited a few months ago and was informed yesterday it has arrived at the dealer. I will be finalizing the deal tomorrow and was wondering if anyone might know the current incentives/rebates. I need a Ram website Sherpa to help me interpret things......
This is only a theory, and I have yet to prove it, but I think the premature wear on the inner rear pads might be related to the electric parking brake calibration. It is not unreasonable to think that if the E-brake is dragging, the inner pad would see more wear than the outer pad.
Before...
I was just searching to see if anyone else has had similar problems as I have had and noticed this thread........
My 2019 went through the driver side rear brakes in less than 10K miles. This was also during the lockdowns, so there was no supply chain to speak of. It was eventually replaced...
My 2019 has the E-torque. I was dumb enough to believe the marketing BS and ordered it that way. My son has a 2019 without it. I've driven his and there is no difference in off idle or low rpm performance between the two.
The braking assist feature does work. It works so well, that when...
I purposely ordered my 2022 (Limited) without the E-torque. I have it in my 2019 and absolutely hate it. So much so, I installed an aftermarket widget to keep it disabled.
My order was confirmed on May 11. The build date continues to get punted out, but as of today, it is scheduled for...
I appreciate the honesty and conservative candor. If I lived within a few hundred miles of them, I would have ordered the truck. But as I live in Alaska, and would need to schedule time away from work, schedule flights, and then drive it home - through Canada...... Well, I think the dilemma is...
Zach - I have a quote from your sales team. It is very straightforward and the price is quite fair. The delivery time, however, is going to be a problem. I was told 6-9 months. I understand that there are supply chain issues, still - but if someone has to wait this long..... Well, one might as...
Thanks for this.
I have gone through the configuration 'build/buy' numerous times and have learned that some options cancel or add others..... It's been a learning experience.
I thought the 10Y anniversary package might be different and unique enough to get, but it forces me to select the...
LOL..... yah, I knew it was a dumb question when I wrote it. I just haven't ever opened one of the Ram Boxes before, so I'm in a position of blind ignorance. I'll look into the bed divider, as it does look handy.
To clarify, the soft bed cover is a "tri-fold"? I see velcro on it. We get about...
I'll need to think more about the boxes. What kind of stuff do you guys keep in them? I generally buy a shell for my trucks, so the boxes were not considered when I bought the '19. But this time I intend to stick with a cover and ditch the shell. Having a shell is kind of a love/hate thing...
Nice truck. Do you have more pictures of it somewhere? I am still somewhat on the fence between the granite and silver. Your truck might have just pushed me to granite.
Do you find the ram boxes useful? Is the cover that comes with the Night Package any good? I was actually going to have a...
That's not very encouraging.... I had assumed getting it applied at the factory would ensure it's done correctly. If it's a dealer-installed thing, then one takes their chances.. Bummer.....
Thanks for the input. One other thing I forgot, that I know is new, is the split tailgate. Not real sure what I think about that...... I hopped over the Ram site and built a truck. Night package this time in Granite color. Looks pretty sharp. They offer a paint film option, and I'll jump on...
Greetings,
I was hoping to find a summary of options and/or changes to the Ram 5th gen to help me decide what truck to replace my 2019 1500 Longhorn truck. I buy a new truck every 3/4 years, so it's time.
I've been pretty happy with this truck, other than a brake problem that occurred during...
I do not want a light bar in the bumper....
I've seen where someone installed a 32" single row bar to a limited, and it looks pretty good. The Longhorn grill is a bit different though, and is not as "modification friendly" as the Limited. I just don't see a simple solution that would look...
The wheels themselves? No idea. The OEM wheel/tire combo came off, this wheel/tire combo went on. The wheel/tire combo - most definitely heavier. The tires are 12 ply Toyo's, 285/20's. The steering feels a bit lazier and they definitely transmit road imperfections and bumps more than the smaller...
