Hello, I'm confused with the different app things needed to enable remote start from my phone on my 21 Ram. When I bought my truck it came with 1 year trial with the UConnect app that would start/lock/unlock... my truck from my phone. I've been thinking about enabling the phone functionality...
The really small text that's on the bottom or back of your battery charger should tell you how many Watt's it will use under peak conditions. That should be the minimum you should look for in an inverter. If you plan to use multiple chargers at the same time, then you will have to multiply...
I was going back and forth between Cooper Discoverer AT3 and the Falcon Wildpeaks a few months ago. It was almost down to a coin toss, but I think I found the AT3's a little cheaper and went with them. They have excellent reviews. I was concerned about losing mpg's, but if there has been any...
Some of y'all have it made with 3-4 dealerships in your area to choose from. I live in a decent sized city in Iowa, and have 2 dealers to choose from, each are a ~20 min drive from my house. The dealership I bought my truck from is 45 min's away, and I haven't been back since I purchased it...
I think I have the correct parts, security bypass, and BT OBDii device sitting in the garage while I try to make time to install them. I've never used AlfaOBD before, I've read that sometimes you need a 4 digit PIN. Will I need that PIN to enable the settings in my truck for the lights?
Thanks
That's pretty much what happened to me. I saw the 2 deer running full speed out of a wooded area, I hit the brakes, was almost stopped, double impact. My insurance adjuster called me thinking there was a mistake because I wasn't having my grill replaced, "No mistake, the deer hit me".
Here's another picture, caved in this section on the driver's door, which bowed out the section below the handle. Also damaged the hood, shifted the hood to the side, damaged the rear drivers door, I forgot every specific item that needs to be repaired or replaced. The estimate was ~$6800 for...
Thanks for the info, I'll try to get some packing tape.
I'm not interested in fixing it myself, I've already made an insurance claim and am going to see the body shop tomorrow.
That's just a portion of the damage, the second deer hit my drivers side door, dinged up the rear drivers side...
Hello, I had a couple deer run into the side of my truck tonight and caused some damage. I have a 2021 Laramie Night edition. The housing for my LED headlight is shattered.
I haven't taken it into the body shop yet, but I'm concerned about water getting into the lights. Does anybody know...
These aren't as aggressive as most, but they were exactly what I was looking for(Cooper Discoverer AT3). More aggressive than the stock tires, but the same 285/45r22 size. So far they have the same driving characteristics, but way more traction, better looking(IMO), and I haven't seen a...
Put new tires on my truck, the stock tires lasted a whole 18,500 miles. 285/45r22 Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s. Should be the compromise I was looking for to have a more aggressive tread than the stock tires without sacrificing mileage.
I'm 6'7", and I test drove a Limited Night package with the panoramic sunroof and hit my head on it and had to do the entire test drive with my head leaning to the side. I don't hit my head on my Limited Night package without the sunroof.
Some people can probably fit if they're taller than me...
Thanks for the info, I guess it'll go away in a couple weeks.
I did/do use it, like when I left work last week and it was really hot. I used that to start the truck and let the AC run for a few minutes before I got out to it. Not worth $15/mth though.
FWIW, my truck is a 2021 Laramie.
I have a question. I bought my RAM on July 13th last year. The app still works for me. I assumed it would stop working after 1 year, but it sounds like it was supposed to end after 6 months.
How long is the free trial supposed to last?
The salesman I worked with didn't mention it. I...
I had a 2013 F-150 FX4 with the 3.5 EcoBoost. Never had a problem with it, but had the itch to get something new. I'm also 6'7", and have a hard time fitting in most vehicles. I couldn't comfortably fit in the aluminum F-150's, so those were out. Initially, I ordered a GMC because it has the...
I would say that getting the base V6 in a truck is only going to save you money when you purchase the vehicle. You'll spend the majority of the time driving it with your foot on the floor to keep up with traffic, going up any slight grade or fighting wind. I'm speaking from experience with other...
It does kind of sound like auto-dimming hi-beams fits what you are describing. The truck senses lights in front and turns the hi-beams off. On my truck, I think the screen in the dash gives you a warning that it disabled the hi-beams temporarily. Have you seen that?
Also, this is just a...
I think it had 16 when I took it for a test drive, 20 when I was done, and 22 when I picked it up the next day after they filled it up and cleaned it.
It wasn't a popular truck, because it had been on the lot for a month so it hadn't drawn much attention.
My 13 F-150 was an FX4 that I put slightly bigger BFG AT's, and my 21 Laramie with the Night Package are vastly different in many ways.
Miss the keypad on the door.
I also liked how the main screen showed what gear I was in. I've also found a way to show it on the RAM, but it's annoying...
