Probably would make sense if I have a warranty item go bad. That way it won't count against my family plan AAA free tows. I had a fun year with one of my Jeeps a few years ago and used up all my tows.
Assuming it came with my '23, I would still never call. So probably disregarded if they told me about it. Guess it's better than nothing if someone doesn't have AAA.
I've never found dealer sold roadside assistance to be even close worth it when compared to AAA. Similar to what you've found, just not as responsive and only focus on getting you to the dealer. I'd rather have the freedom to get a tow to wherever I want. With AAA you get so many free tows per...
I bought everything. Ended up getting:
2 sets of the Infinity 6X9 - Infinity Reference REF697F
1 pair of the 3.5" - Infinity Reference REF307F
I'll get the ANC bypass later if I need it. At least per Crutchfield, I don't need it. So looking forward to installing everything this weekend. I'm...
I'm planning to just replace the OEM speakers for now and not do an amp or sub.
So I'm planning to buy:
2 sets of the Infinity 6X9 - Infinity Reference REF697F
1 pair of the 3.5" - Infinity Reference REF307F
iDatalink bCH3 ANC Bypass Harness
That way I can just install them myself. I watched a...
Yup, I've had my '23 for 3 months now. Had a few times while backing up when it did that, slams on the brakes. I have 3 kids and made me think I killed one of them. Someone is going to have a heart attack with that kicking in! Scares the s* out of me every time.
Take it to the dealer if under warranty. Otherwise, up to you if you really want to pay them for that. If it's just making a noise, but still stable to stand on, I'd probably leave it. If it starts having some sort of functional problem, need to figure out if you want to fix it or replace with...
I would get the 2024 so you can have the 5.7. I bought one 3 months ago, didn't want the I6 Turbo. Figure it's the first year, so much more likely to have problems.
Give them a couple years at least to figure out the problems with the new Ram Charger. No thank you.
I bought mine 3 months ago and considered the Chevy. The current gen seems to have engine and trans issues, and didn't want to take a chance. So hopefully their next gen will not have as many issues. Could end up being the only option for a V8 in a half ton.
They didn't get rid of the V8 because they wanted to, the EPA is making that decision a no brainer. So really don't think they're 'bringing it back'. I believe they're already paying fines because it is still being used this year. You can still get a V8 F150, but slim pickings. Not likely to...
33's will fit stock. So if you only want to do 33's, either keep it stock, or a small level. For 35's, you could still to a level or up to 4" lift. A quality lift and shocks will likely give you a better ride.
Aside from MPG, keep in mind that turning radius will be worse with taller and/or...
If you replace the speakers, need to connect an ANC (active noise canceling) bypass.
If not doing an amp or DSP, the ohm's (2, 3 or 4 I think) need to match the OEM. Otherwise you're going have strange issues. Read up on other threads on here, it will make more sense. Start with the ANC...
Same problem here with my '23. If I make a normal turn (left turn) it usually doesn't shut off. If I make a more drastic turn, it will turn off. Figured I'll wait until it's ready for it's first oil change to take it to the dealer. Though I feel like they're going to tell me it's normal or that...
Hopefully there's another dealer close by. Sounds like you got a deadbeat service dept there. Luckily I have probably 5 dealers within about 30 minutes. I know others aren't that lucky.
You could call Ramcares and report them, but that will maybe get them a slap on the wrist and make them bitter.
Per above, sounds like if you move all your music to the root of the flash drive (no folders) that might fix it. I haven't tried this yet. I just try to remember to change it to Sirius or FM radio before shutting off the truck.
I plan to take mine in at 5000 miles for it's first oil change...
