Looking for suggested ways to report a dealer that refuses work.

This has now happened twice to me at the local dealer.

First, was they turned my truck away after having it for 6 days, concluding that they aren’t going to work on it because it’s “aftermarket”.

I moved on from this one because the truck is no longer in warranty.

I took my wife’s Jeep in, because it is under warranty, figured I would have better luck here.

Just received a call from the Service Manager and even though my vehicle was a drop off, expected to be a couple days before they could look at it, I got a call 24 hours after drop off.

He stated they eliminated all possibility of external concerns and it was likely a transmission or torque converter. Then, ironically his only driveline guy is going to be out a couple weeks and advised me to take it elsewhere due to this. I asked if I could reschedule and he steered me away from this.

I’m getting a strong sense of this guy is choosing what they want to work on.

Thoughts and or guidance? Thanks in advance!

Time to find another dealership for the Jeep IMO. Even if you somehow got them to agree to work on it, it's likely they'll slow walk the repair or mess with you in some other way out of spite. As far as your truck goes, why would you even consider taking it to a dealership if it's no longer under warranty. You'll get better service and likely better prices from an independent shop.

I read it was under warranty at the time and no longer is.

Hopefully there's another dealer close by. Sounds like you got a deadbeat service dept there. Luckily I have probably 5 dealers within about 30 minutes. I know others aren't that lucky.

You could call Ramcares and report them, but that will maybe get them a slap on the wrist and make them bitter.

Consider yourself fortunate, you found a deadbeat service department before you jumped off on the deep end with them.
Move on and find some professionals with ability to do the job, they are out there.

…And hammer them away when Mopar sends you a text or email later on asking you to participate in a service survey.
