You really don't want to use a die on the studs. You want a thread repairer that doesn't take any more material off, but will clean and repair any damaged threads. You can get them just about anywhere, I think I got mine at Harbor Freight. You can use the different tools in a kit like that to...
I do think people want more performance than an automotive A/C can provide. While mine does take a bit longer than I'd like to start blowing really cold, it does blow really cold. A/C systems need airflow, at idle they still work pretty good. But for them to work at peak performance there...
I disagree. If Ram had waited to launch the 2019, I'd be in a Ford right now. There is nothing "out there" that I'm interested in; I can't say I wish I had ___________. The truck I got is perfect and it has everything I want, and nothing I don't.
Has anyone thought about or is concerned about the increased front shaft angle that will happen with a 2” level kit? Or any lift for that matter. Any pics of the running angle on front shafts for those with a level kit? Id really like the ready lift but im not sure i could be ok with 3” in...
Why in the hell would anyone want or need a remote tailgate release on a truck? That would suck if a trailer or something was hooked up and you hit that button and ball up the tailgate like a tin can.
The yearly cost between 87 and 89 octane is minimal. Do the math and you may see it isn't worth skimping to you. Maybe it is. I want all the available power this engine makes, FCA recommends 89 so that's what I'll use. Yes 87 will be fine, but that will probably pull some timing advance out...
Funny, this was the swing vote that made me choose the Ram over the Ford. After owning direct injection engines I don't want another one. The complicated hp pump and carbon build up is aggravating as hell. The iron block is going to be stronger pound for pound....and in a truck I want it to...
Ehhhh, neutral is still between D and R, the shift pattern didn't change. If anything, shifting is faster and takes less effort with the knob. There's no need for a mechanical linkage anymore, and it's one more thing to go bad if it were there.
I just picked up a '19 Laramie CC, 6.5' bed, has everything I want, and nothing I don't....except running boards. Is there any known option to add them other than Mopar? I'm even having difficulty figuring out which Mopar part number will work for the crew cab. If you know I'd appreciate...
