I just wanted to weigh in. I have a 2023 that was built near the end of the production run with all the options except the hud and air suspension. I have aproximately 13k miles now. My turn signal mutli function switch wouldn't cancel my blinker when I received it new from the factory which was...
I took mine in for an oil change and they had the parts on hand and swapped it over. Everything is perfect now! I'm just glad everything went smoothly at the dealer.
My tint shop put 3M Ceramic 15% on the fronts. It looks like a close match but it's a little dark for me at night personally. If I could do it again I would have done 20% on the fronts. even if it wasn't a perfect match.
I agree with what the others have said, the factory windows are dyed...
I second the vote on checking with your dealer but I recall reading another thread where the user said he ultimately had to realign it himself. I agree with being upset over having the paint damaged. I wouldn't be worried about the cosmetic aspect as much as having exposed metal that could start...
I had the bumper completely covered and about an 8" strip across the front fenders and the hood. I believe my cost was $1200. You can see the line up close if you're looking for it. I've never had anyone else point out the PPF lines from the partials unless I specifically pointed it out.
I use Pennzoil ultra platinum with the mopar filter.
I would use the recommended oil that's on your fill cap for your model and year of truck. I've heard all sorts of competing theories on why you would want thicker or thinner oil.
My experience is anecdotal so take it for what its worth, but...
I think the class action lawsuit was worded something along the lines of "and they continue to replace the defective parts with equally defective parts".
I'm hoping if we continue to bring attention to it they will come up with a real solution for those who have leaks.
Congratulations on a new truck!
That's always an exciting experience. You will have to come back and give us a review after you have settled into the Ford for a bit. I've been curious about the platinum trim F150 and how it compares. I did have an F150 rental recently but it was a 5.0 XLT...
2023 5.7 E Torque - No bugs yet but I only have 8,000 miles. I wish my truck didn't have the E Torque, but I was surprised at how they integrated it into the truck in a way that doesn't annoy me. After living with it 99% of the time I don't even notice it.
If I were you I'd just go test drive...
I see in your signature you have the sport package. I believe they come with less resonators than the standard models come with. I do agree that the "standard Ram" (with all of the mufflers) is quieter than the 2023 Audi A5 I've ridden in and night and day different against any of the Acura's. I...
Keep up posted on the results. I have the pano sunroof and do not have any issues but in the event I do I would like to know how your situation turns out.
If lubricating the latches for the multi function tailgate are on the regular maintenance list does anyone have any recommendations on where to spray and what to use. It seems like some lubricants attract more dust and grit to stick to a surface. I would like to maintain my latches without...
For me the decision was made in the test drive. When I compared the Ram and the Tundra it seemed like overall the Tundra was a safer bet. However when I drove them both I felt that the potential risk of more headaches was worth having a vehicle I enjoyed more to drive every day.
I would think...
