Question regarding IGLA.

Can hijack mode be temporally disabled? if not, what is your recommendation for taking the truck to the dealer for service?
That is exactly what I'm going to do. My concern is that if codes show up while the battery is disconnected, I'll have to go back to the dealer to get them cleared. I'm not sure the dealer will work on it with IGLA installed.
The installer said the draw was .0023 Planning on replacing the battery with an AGM soon. Just hoping the warning lights don't reappear when I change it out.
And NO, I did not apologize, but I did have a long, firm, professional talk with the service advisor when I picked it up. Don't want...
I have IGLA and Compustar T13 installed. Last week, I let the truck set for 2 days and got a warning from the Drone app that the truck battery was low. Sure nuff truck would not start but all kinds of flashing and beeping are going on—disconnected battery to shut it up. Charged battery...
Agreed. I'm leaving on a cross-country trip in a couple of days. If it falls off, so be it. I'll replace the whole unit. I never run it through a car wash but ironically, the mobile detail guy blew it off with his pressure washer.
I'll give that a shot. It's the plastic cover, not the entire emblem with clips. So my concern is that there will not be enough surface area. And if so it will stand proud of the back plate. I may have to use superglue.
I set up IGLA to be installed next week and chickened out on adding Compustar R5 Q9 (what the shop recommended) due to cost, but I am reconsidering now.
Edit: Added Compustar Q9
Second Edit: I ended up going with IGLA and T13 Conpustar. I love both but the dealer doesn't like/understand IGLA
I was thinking about having something installed before a cross country trip. I've looked at both IGLA and Compustar. Since you have both, am I correct in thinking IGLA is more of an immobilizer with the need for a pin to start? And Compustar is more suited to remote start, glass break, tilt...
Very EASY! Only pulled credit once, was somewhere north of 800. Dealt with Marsh in finance via zoom. Took about ten minutes. No high pressure or upselling. Absolutely the best vehicle buying experience I've ever had, from start to finish!
