Why would you? It's not worth the risk. A jug of Mopar coolant can be had for ~$20 on eBay or Amazon. If you buy the concentrate (not pre-mix) and a gallon of distilled water, boom, two gallons worth of coolant.

Search eBay for the OEM step - it can be found much cheaper. Do not buy a generic... it is nowhere near the same quality (get what you pay for). The generic started rusting in mere days of winter road salt weather... OEM is still rust-free over a year later.

I don't think there's a glow plug light - this isn't an old turn key ignition system. The truck will attempt to turnover the engine when it thinks the plugs are ready. You will notice it takes longer before it even attempts to crank in cold weather vs warm weather.
