I've had the original CarPlay for over a year and absolutely love it. On a rare occasion it won't connect, but for the most part it has been flawless. I find the factory GPS to be clunky, outdated and the updates too expensive.

My BMW did it, and my 21 Limited is doing it with 30,000 miles. I think it's normal.

Would also like to have the option to adjust the heat level on the heated steering wheel.

Chevy is worse! My wife has a '19 Equinox. I got tired of paying for the OnStar and canceled it. Now, even the key fob remote start has been turned off. Arrrrgh!

My nephew is a service writer at a dealership and when I was considering the PC he told me about numerous nightmare situations after installing them. I decided I can live with the lazy accerater.

I have the same adapter plugged in 24/7 and have never had problems even when sitting for extended periods of time. Strange that some are affected yet others aren't.

If it's mild terrain, you should be fine. But those stock tires will be your biggest limitation.

Assuming it's still under warranty, I would take it back in and let the dealer fix it. They are prone to warping, and as theblet states, there are tons of threads on that topic here - just do a search. Hope you get it resolved. And welcome to the forum!

Thanks, all... I purchased a MagSafe cup holder charger/bracket for iPhone 13. The directions with the charger indicate that I need to use a 20w port - so just wondering what the ones on my truck are rated at. I'll do some more digging...

With CarPLay, I have never found a compelling reason to use the built-in gps. The maps are always outdated and it lacks soooo many features CarPlay offers. But hey, that's just me.
