Not sure about the cold, but mine are intermittently finicky. They ALWAYS tilt down upon going into reverse, but not always return to normal. I try to remember to wait after I'm done backing up and switch to Park before shutting off the engine. That seems to help, but with me stuck at home...
Hey folks - question for those with bed extenders: once installed, can you remove the extender? If I was hauling stone in the bed, or something else and didn't want the extender in while doing so, is there a means to easily remove it? As of now, probably going to go with the AMP research, but...
I suspect I already know the answer before I post, but it won't hurt to ask. I updated my iPhone to iOS 14, and there is a feature which allows you to add an electronic key to the Apple wallet which will then allow you to start your vehicle, lock and unlock your vehicle, etc. all through your...
Another vote for before - I do the same thing in my motorhome - keeps the impurities/etc. from sitting in the engine for a long period of time while not circulating.
I did some searching, and it seems that its been almost a year since this was last seen. Has anyone added a HUD to their RAM? I've had one in rental cars - more so in Europe, and their pretty convenient for Navigation, speed, etc. Anyone have one in their truck that they'd recommend? Amazon...
This isn't necessarily related to our new 2019 DTs, but was wondering what folks who have OWL tires use to keep the tires clean and shiny? I read a lot of the cans of products in the auto part section of WalMart, and none of them spoke specifically about using or not using on OWL tires. How do...
LimitedGRR - I thought it was just mine! Same exact thing here - once closed there are no issues, but I've looked too and can't see anything wrong or missing. Oh well - not a real big deal for me.
As long as the truck is a 4x4, all you do is put the transfer case into Neutral (N) - the recessed button in the center of the selector - and there is no damage done nor restrictions as to how far or fast you can tow the truck. Absolutely CAN NOT do it with a 2 wheel drive Ram.
I will be towing my truck behind my RV - it's a bus-type motor home. To take some of the braking responsibility off of the RV when stopping, a braking system was installed in my truck that activates the truck's brakes when the controller senses forward movement stopping. The braking system...
Folks - need help - please! I need to find the brake light switch in my 2019 1500DT. Reason? I need to tap into the wire that sends the signal to the brake lights to go on when the brake pedal is pushed. I'll use that to tie in an indicator light that I'll be able to see when I tow my 1500...
I'm going to tow my truck behind my motorhome. The add-on supplemental braking system came with an indicator light that wires into the brake switch so I'll know when the braking system activates. I should be able to see it light up in the rear camera on the RV. Now all I gotta do is find the...
